Snell tosses no-hitter for St. Johnsville
ST. JOHNSVILLE - Shane Snell threw a no-hitter for St. Johnsville/Morris J. Edwards Post in a 10-0 six-inning win over Little Falls Thursday at Soldiers and Sailors Field.
Snell struck out 11, walked one and hit one batter on his way to the no-hitter.
Tyler Hall went 4-for-4 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored for St. Johnsville (8-3 overall), while Blake Hart went 2-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI.
Derek Nugent went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run for St. Johnsville, while Dane O'Neil went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
