BROADALBIN — Kaitlyn Westfall had two singles, a triple and four RBIs, but it wasn’t enough as the Broadalbin-Perth Blitz 16-and-younger softball team lost to Taconic Hills 17-9 in five innings Thursday.
Jessica Roser had two singles and an RBI for the Blitz (1-2) and Sam Lysiak hit an RBI double. Jocelyn Hart single twice, while Abbie Samples and Shannon Wancewicz each singled.
The Blitz will host Mechanicville Tuesday.
