Braves scores 11 in fourth inning

FONDA — An 11-run fourth inning helped Fonda-Fultonville to a 12-3 win Thursday over St. Johnsville.
Kevin Hanson came up twice in the fourth and drove in five runs between his two at bats, doubling twice. Sean Myers recorded three hits for the Braves (11-5 overall, 10-3 Western Athletic Conference). Tyler Hall had two hits and Josh Nethaway hit a solo home run.
Kyle Hanson struck out four batters on the mound in relief for FFCS.
St. Johnsville (6-7 overall, 4-6 WAC) held a 3-0 lead after three innings. Evan Springer had two hits.
FFCS will play Monday at Mayfield and St. Johnsville will play Monday at Fort Plain.

Indian Lake-Long Lake 18, Wells 4
WELLS — Indian Lake-Long Lake jumped on Wells early with six runs in the first inning and nine in the second.
Jordan Wallace was 3-for-5 with a double for the Orange (7-0 overall, 5-0 MVAC), Jeff Reynolds was 2-for-3 with a double and Alex Smith was w-for-4. Both Reynolds and Smith scored two runs.
For Wells (0-7 overall, 0-4 MVAC), Eric Williamsen was 2-for-4 with a double, Ryan Woodward was 2-for-4 and Jason Knapp was 2-for-3.
Wells will play Johnsburg Monday.
