Donald ‘Adam’ King

Donald “Adam” King, 48, of Apalachin, went to be home with the Lord and his mother, Barbara (Glezen) King, Monday evening, May 5, 2008, at Robert Packer Hospital. He is survived by his father and stepmother, John S. and Shirley (Smith) King, Cincinnatus, N.Y.; two brothers and sisters-in-law and a sister and brother-in-law, Eric and Susan King, Tallahassee, Fla., Jan and Larry Pudney, Mesa, Ariz., Brad and Heather King, Gloversville, N.Y.; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends including special friends, Doug and Cora Williams, Apalachin, and Laura Warner, Ulster, Pa. Adam was employed in the auto parts and marine manufacturing industry. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and was happiest with his friends around the campfire.

Memorial Services will be held at Heritage Hall, corner of Route 26 and Main Street, Cincinnatus, N.Y., Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jill Shaefer, Pastor of Cincinnatus Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery, Cortland, N.Y., at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Adam has requested that each of you invest in your family by having a BBQ with them in his memory. Arrangements are with the J.F. Rice Funeral Home Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City, N.Y.
