Loretta Pratt

Loretta Pratt of St. Hwy. 309, Bleecker, died at home early this morning.

Born May 4, 1942 in Gloversville, the daughter of Raymond and Violet Rulison Woodcock.

Loretta received her education in Gloversville schools.

She worked in Laundry and Dry Cleaning for Robison & Smith and Angelica’s in Ballston Spa, where she retired due to illness.

Survivors include her husband, Kerry Pratt Sr. of Bleecker, whom she married on June 16, 1979; 2 daughters, Robin Cook of Gloversville and Kathy Abel of Gloversville; 3 sons, John Cook of Caroga Lake, Donald Cook of Gloversville and Kerry Pratt Jr. of Johnstown; 3 sisters, Marlene Young of Bleecker, Marilyn Pettit of Gloversville and Irene Chamberlain of Gloversville. Loretta is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Raylinski; 2 sisters, Helen Romaine and Pauline VanSkiver; and 2 brothers, Alan Woodcock Sr. and Clarence Richards.

There will be no funeral services. Cremation will be in Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Valley Hospice. Arrangements are by the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, Johnstown.
