Amie M. Christiano, the daughter of John and Susan Christiano of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Garry S. Miller, the son of Stephen Miller and Denise VanNostrand of Mayfield, at 3 p.m. Dec. 30, 2007.

The ceremony took place at The Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia. The Rev. Victoria Milne officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Jackie Merkt of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were Melissa Merkt of Gloversville, Julie Kemmer of Saratoga, cousin of the bride; Michelle Miller and Patricia Almy, both of Mayfield, sisters of the bridegroom. The junior attendant was McKenzie Bellen of Mayfield, niece of the bridegroom. The flower girls were Haley and Leah Almy of Mayfield, nieces of the bridegroom.

The best man was Ryan Russo of North Carolina. The ushers were Justin Giardino of North Carolina, Peter Christiano of Gloversville, brother of the bride; David Rhodes of Johnstown, and John Frasier of Mayfield. The junior usher was Tyler Almy of Mayfield, nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception for 140 guests took place at The Glen Sanders Mansion.

A wedding trip took place January in Jamaica. The couple resides in Gloversville.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Gloversville High School, a 2006 graduate of Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and is attending the Albany College of Pharmacy.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Mayfield High School, attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College and Middle Tennessee State University. He is employed by Miller’s Ready Mix, Mayfield.
