March 15, 2008
Staff reports
GLOVERSVILLE — Some members of the Fulton County Federal Credit Union have been affected by the theft of debit card numbers and personal identification numbers.

Affected Visa debit cards have been deactivated, and new cards should be issued within seven to 10 business days, the credit union told customers.

A spokeswoman for the credit union declined to answer questions about the crime. She said concerned bank customers may call the credit union at 725-3191.

Local police agencies said they had received no reports of the identity theft as of Friday afternoon.
