This is the beginning of the Chapter in this sorry Obamacare story where lib/progressive looters and moochers discover the real cost is going to effect them in ways they never imagined. Many Americans of both parties are realizing the VA mess is a prelude to the inevitable structure and outcome of Obamacare. Nothing wakes you up like a hot poker where the sun don't shine, or in a libs case, when they figure out it's their turn in the barrel and their benevolent Govt is confiscating their money too, not just the hated 'rich' or Conservatives.

So 8 million signed up leaving 22 + many more millions that are breaking the law! IT IS law that you MUST HAVE health insurance or you are in violation of Obamacare law! Lets start the penalty phase long before the elections shall we?

HEY PLEASE....

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is contacting hundreds of thousands of people with subsidized health insurance to resolve questions about their eligibility, as consumer advocates express concern that many will be required to repay some or all of the subsidies.

Of the eight million people who signed up for private health plans through insurance exchanges under the new health care law, two million reported personal information that differed from data in government records, according to federal officials and Serco, the company hired to resolve such inconsistencies.

Good assessment Hill but I think what really affected Cantor was his attendance at a George Soros funded anti-TEA party rally in Florida. When questioned about it he stated, and I paraphrase...'I wanted to bring a message to the enemy'. His constituents returned the message with a loud BYE NOW RHINO. Yes, we can expect more establishment Republicans to meet the same fate in November. Regardless of liberal hopes, the TEA party isn't dead..you can't kill an idea no matter how hard they insist. Witness the 'idea' of America, it's still alive and kicking no matter how much lib/progressives are trying to destroy it. They can't and won't.

The Eric Cantor defeat could be the collapse that brings down the entire house of cards. His constituants say the he lossed touch with them, as was evidenced by him spending election morning with lobbyists instead of the voters. Being a Washington power player didn't do it for the people of the 7th congressional district, so they gave him the boot. I suspect that in the upcoming midterms many more will be "Cantored", locals included.

TOT...."The net gain for Obamacare is not conclusive".....must be the numbers she looked up today didn't fit the argument she wanted to make....hilarious, can't even admit when she's wrong....... weak and lame

A majority of republicans have done NOTHING for years but obstruct everything Obama's TRIED to do, yet TOT sees that as Obama being political... TOT's typical view on everything through her blinders. (and I know this will probably start the name calling to fly from Drugs or MrBob.

By the way, TOT, since you can't figure it out on your own, you're hitting the disagree button on everything certain people post, regardless of what they say makes you look very childish and weak and does nothing to get anyone to follow your way of thinking. (I think only a full lobotomy would accomplish that anyway)

The net gain for Obamacare is not conclusive, the US deaths in Afghanistan are mostly on Obama. Every single policy he has signed is partisan politics. He has so many failures and so few victories it is going to be history that will shine the light on him being a failure!

How many people have died for no reason under Obama as compared to Bush? How has the economy done under Obama as compared to Bush? How many more people have health insurance under Obama as compared to Bush? Want me to go on?

Obama may not be the best president in our history, but Bush was our worst by far.

Obama RAN FOR OFFICE saying that the VA needed restructure. Where did that go? Into the many mistake ridden policies that they enacted. I would address the VA's failures to 1600 pennsylvania ave washington dc. There in lies the inherent problems!

Wow! I agree with MrBob too. Of course, I totally disagree with this editorial that claims that Obama sees no urgency to fix the VA. "If these allegations prove to be true, it is dishonorable, it is disgraceful and I will not tolerate it -- period.", he said.

The issues at the VA were not limited to just the VA. These are inherently governmental issues that occur in all aspects of Government.

This is the root reason to make government smaller and more responsive.

"It is too late for 40 of our finest. Not another minute should go by before the Obama administration has done right by the rest."......As the hours and days and weeks fly by with no resolution in sight. The solution is having every Administrative and support position filled by active duty Military personnel just like every Military Duty Station with not one political appointee or civilian with 'an eye towards bonus' in sight.
