I call that yet another example of democrats buying voters and weakening our country's ability to sustain this over bown spending. It is POLITICS! It is progressives pounding the propaganda machine yet again. If you care about the needy, why would you demean them so by berating them like progressives ALWAYS do? You are not here to help as a liberal you are here to propagate hate and discontent. Good luck!

TOT, how do you explain this? 32 states received more entitlement funds than they contributed. 84% of them are Republican or tea party. 18 states contributed more than they received. 78% of them are Democrat or progressive. source....taxfoundation****

"Paul Krugman is in puzzlement, having observed that Red States get more welfare funding, while Republican voters oppose the welfare state. He portrays Republicans as “Moochers” who are either hypocritical or too stupid to know their own best interest."

AND I REPEAT! The extremists are the UNSUSTAINABLE OVERSPENDING LIBERALS! Not the people that are looking out for our future. Tea Party is sustainable government and sensible governing practices that will allow us to exist, not bankrupt ourselves into a civil war! You are on the wrong side Bereal64, the side that IS RUINING and running our country!

And in their POCKET! A recent study by Indiana University’s School of Journalism revealed that 28 percent of full-time journalists identify as Democrats, while a mere 7 percent call themselves Republicans.

That political imbalance doesn’t reflect the nation’s political landscape, which is almost evenly distributed between parties.

Sounds like bereal just addressed the progressive/liberal agenda. Time to realize that denying you're own attributes and impulses and then trying to impose them onto someone else is called 'projecting' bereal, an old liberal trick that doesn't work anymore. Revise your play-book accordingly.

The Tea Party agenda has nothing to do with taxes and everything to do with control. Your reply about more taxes is simplistic and meaningless. Address the true Tea Party agenda instead of the propaganda.

Bereal isn't taxed enough already...please send a big fat check to the U.S Treasury at the earliest opportunity, you 'care' and you'll 'feeeel better'. Thanks for letting us know how much the TEA people scare you. You do know that people who were 'taxed enough already' started the great Country...I bet THAT pi*ses you off too. Heheh, silly lib.

The Tea Party is a cancer. As the cause takes its course it makes our country weak. I just hope we can eliminate it before it destroys our country.

BEREAL64, your ignorance of what the tea party is is astounding! Do you know what TEA stands for? It is TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY! In that it means we pay enough to our government to cover all necessary expenses. If you need more, sut the waste. That in no way fills tea party participants pockets. Tea partiers have not STRONG ARMED ANYONE, unlike progressives when they pushed various agendas on us such as the ACA. They threw taxpayer money at the opposition and bulldozed those that stood in the way right off their agenda. The extremists are the UNSUSTAINABLE OVERSPENDING LIBERALS! Not the people that are looking out for our future. Tea Party is sustainable government and sensible governing practices that will allow us to exist, not bankrupt ourselves into a civil war!

I do however know a bunch of people that believe that everyone but them should stop doing whatever they do because YOU are ruining their planet (TEA PARTY)! I have a problem with idealistic idiots promoting their agenda to fill their pockets (TEA PARTY). A band of thugs muscling anyone that they please out of their way (TEA PARTY). It has become sickening to read about them daily forcing someone to give up their livelihood and lifelong dreams for some obscure reasoning (TEA PARTY). They are the extremists that we can no longer tolerate (TEA PARTY)!

You know what, I do not know anyone that wants to pollute our planet. I do not know anyone that wants to have problems from pollution. I do however know a bunch of people that believe that everyone but them should stop doing whatever they do because YOU are polluting and ruining their planet! Al Gore has been wrong more times on climate change than Obama on policy change and he has used up more carbon credits than the state of Ohio. I have a problem with idolistic idiots promoting their agenda to fill their pockets. Al Gore is just such a person! The EPA has become a band of thugs mustling anyone that they please out of their way. It has become sickening to read about them daily forcing someone to give up their livelihood and life long dreams for some obscure reasoning. It is time to get this branch of government back under control. They are the extremists that we can no longer tolerate!

Everybody is an 'environmentalist' adkman, no one anywhere in America wants bad water, foul air or blatant pollution, contrary to what radical environmental terrorists and lib/progressive obstructionists would have YOU believe. I'm for sensible environmental regulations that placate ALL of us, not a chosen radical few who are bent on stifling that which they don't like at the expense of the rest of us. We know which camp you're in now, don't we. Too bad you don't bother researching the subject so you'd know who the players are, but no, you'd rather blindly call somebody an idiot instead and feel better and smarter for doing so. Yup, progressive 'progress' at it's, what, best or worse...you make the call.

The purported imprimatur of the EPA has devolved into a political sham, charade and a fraud. From humble beginnings, good and noble works were accomplished. Its subsequent unacceptable slide into political kowtowing and groveling must halt before it becomes even more destructive to the economy.

LOL!! "Obama's blatantly political blocking of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, in order to placate environmentalists, already has made that clear." Imagine that. The EVIRONMENTAL Protection Agency placating ENVIRONMENTALISTS. Who is the idiot who wrote this editorial?

Hill, that proposal is bundled with a lot of other repairs (furniture, locker rooms, computer bandwidth, climate control, sound system etc.) that should have been in Prop #1 and #3 and Sports enhancements put up on it's own but the Board would not even consider it. Anone notice haw locker room ventilation is in a separate proposal than upgrading the locker rooms?? Talk about a double shuffle...the Board really wants this fiasco but it would NEVER survive a separate vote and they know it. I plan on voting NO on the whole da*n thing. Like I have said..we can't afford it so if you want your kids in glitzy sports programs, move to Texas.

BoB: don't forget to vote "no" on Proposition 2, the $19.8 mil bldg project. If there isn't the 60% majority the BOE can put it up again without the $1.5 mil turf field, lights on the baseball field, and sans AC in the elementary wing that's out of session in July and August. That will save us from wasting $2 mil. All the rest of the repairs and upgrades have my blessings.

For the second time in as many weeks we have a zero substance anti-Obama rant on LH.. Somehow the EPA blocking the keystone pipeline is unscientific? or pandering to environmentalists? And environmentalists are bad folks for caring about nature?? What secrets is the EPA hiding? Just because you don't know that nothing isn't going on doesn't mean there is something bad or not...LOL Sheesh I thought with Beck riding off in the sunset the LH would actually become a real news outlet, but it looks as if the inmates are running the asylum now.
