While there may be regulations in New York state that are unfriendly to businesses and the economy, some state regulations actually help consumers and small businesses....

Drugs, I re-read every one of your posts here and see NO opinion on this subject from you. You defended MrBob's lie, you started name calling anyone who disagreed with him and you posted NOTHING in the way of an opinion so the point of your last post (other than another opportunity for you to use childish name calling) was what? please explain.

wow Clue, lots of posts with no opinion other than to bash the people who actually do post their opinions and add to the dialog. You and usedto make a good pair, you both seem to be a lot like Slinkys -- not good for much but fun to watch when pushed down the stairs

So NOW THE REAL truth finally comes out....Drugs, "....the people who are basically anti- Barry..." so it NEVER was about policies? just about a person? taken at face value this statement seems somewhat racist to me., but I always thought that anyway.....now let the name calling from the 3 stooges begin

MrBob "You won't get ANY real facts from a lib, just a slew of names and indictments thrown at you in place of knowledge."

the ONE guy who frequents this forum who can't post a single statement without name calling and he posts that? HILARIOUS!

MrBob posts whatever he likes, never lets the facts get in his way, then when he's called out on a lie (AGAIN!) he disappears and his two (as Bob would say) "troll" lackeys run to his aid. You heard Drugs, Bob doesn't need to cite sources. (most of his sources don't actually exist anyway) I

Drugs, when the extent of our 'fearless' leaders Foreign Policy is a meaningless hash tag and equally meaningless threats, his Domestic Policy is documented by one failure after another and his Justice Dept. is based on racism and division that's all the facts I need to know. I mean, really..bring back 'our' girls? That optic only serves as a subtle example of the progressive insistence and belief that everyone and everything everywhere belongs to them. Their existence is based solely on 'good intentions' and how to fool people into believing they 'care'. Substance and action means nothing to them. You won't get ANY real facts from a lib, just a slew of names and indictments thrown at you in place of knowledge. I think that's the good laugh you're talking about.

so usedto, let me get this straight. You want the people who are basically anti- Barry to give you sources of information that you won't believe anyway??? Sources that show how corrupt your boy king really is ??? Here's a suggestion -- find (if you can) real facts that show us what a wonderful leader(sic) we have and how glad we should be that he is there. -- Then we can have a real discussion or a good laugh.

Hey giville70, does obamacare cover your 'script for your daily dose of angry, spiteful liberaltrollicillin or is it generic?

gville70, obummercare or as you prefer the ACA, doesn't really affect "you crotchety old fools" -- We have Medicare which is a mandatory thing when you hit 65

Yea because the insurance companies NEVER EVER changed their policies to screw over the people covered BEFORE the ACA... I was wishing you crotchety old fools would live long enough to see the ACA make a difference to the millions of people using it, but we would have to suffer your silly comments for another few years.. AND THAT'S A FACT !!

We had to change medical insurance plans directly due to the Obamacare regulations. Our new insurance does not cover my generic stomach meds...they told me I need to use over-the-counter replacements. My doctor is currently helping me fight this decision. THAT is a FACT!!!

When reading nonfiction books there are references to sources. This of course adds legitimacy.

usedto, you question facts akin to the color of grass(green) or the sky (blue). That might be one reason you dislike Glenn Beck, he always states "don't believe me, look it up for yourself" -- but what you'll find won't be the Barry Soetoro line, so according to you it must not be true

As for funerals, the L-H had an excellent article last Sunday. I still think families prefer a locally based funeral director. Just look at how much better the Halgas funeral home has done since Horace Jeffords sold out to what is now BRBS in the early 80's. The BRBS location in Broadalbin does much fewer now. It will probably even get more dramatic now that a conglomerate owns BRBS. You have got to watch those costs not included in the price list. When my father died, I had a Ballston Spa funeral home prepare him for calling hours there and they transported him to another home in Duchess county (where we had additional calling hours and his burial)for a reasonable $450. The home in Duchess county charged me $1848 to receive the body. What a rip-off.

I have personally experienced changes in drug formularies numerous times in recent years. I have not had the best experience with the generic substitutes after previously having success with the original drug. Mr Bob is absolutely correct.

drugs, give us all a break....someone posts something that sounds questionable, I ask the source and you want me to look it up? Hard to find a source that doesn't exist. Kinda like proving a negative. You and your trio are getting tiresome

There is no Obamacare success, what they have done is spend a fortune for a status quo. The covered people are not the 30 million uninsured these are simply the subsidised and the unaware people that have simply been shuffled from the plan that they could have kept! For the cost we have already spent all of these insured could have been provided free insurance at a savings to taxpayers!

By JENNIFER HABERKORN and KYLE CHENEY | 5/11/14 7:04 AM EDT Updated: 5/11/14 11:46 AM EDT Nearly half a billion dollars in federal money has been spent developing four state Obamacare exchanges that are now in shambles — and the final price tag for salvaging them may go sharply higher.

Each of the states — Massachusetts, Oregon, Nevada and Maryland — embraced Obamacare, and each underperformed. All have come under scathing criticism and now face months of uncertainty as they rush to rebuild their systems or transition to the federal exchange.
