wow Clue, so that's how I missed your input that you think that it could be of some value. You buried it in bashing the current administration which is NOT part of the question. -- and do not take that as a defense of current gov't. It is just not part of the question

I have to admit TOT, your comment about the thread being so far off topic that it no longer mattered made me laugh out loud. Excellent

Since you cant comprehend what has happened around you Drugs, here it is. TOT called the question long ago on this thread and here was my answer: "My Reason: City managers seem to work. Running a city is EXACTLY like running a big business. and facts show it works if done correctly. exactly like the CEO of a company.

So, with that being said......If you owned a business, would you appoint King Dayton as your CEO? He has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for this city. You'd have to be out of your mind. It certainly can't be worse than what we currently have. Is that good enough for you TOT?"

and if you are hearing crickets you should seek help. That's an early warning sign.

Drugs, if you weren't busy scratching Bob's back for him and you took time to actually have someone read the posts early on to you, my feelings were clear. Try again

The labor force participation rate in April 2014 for Americans ages 25 to 29 hit the lowest level recorded since 1982, when the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) started tracking such data.

And this thread has been so far off topic it does not matter at all anymore!

GetAClue, soooo ....... what are your thoughts on considering a change in local government to a city manager style ??? You have hijacked this discussion to personally attack MrBoB, TOT and me and have yet to express an opinion on either side of the argument. But I can understand that because of all the hype in the past couple of days on how "climate change" is a problem out of control and the libs make weather a political issue

common MrBoob, you can make up some more "facts" to strengthen your argument. Drugs has your back. He'll back up any lie you choose to post. He just said so.

There are those that understand so for them no explanation is needed. Then there are those that do not understand for them no explanation can help them to comprehend anyway.

it was summed up as well: (NOT MY WORDS!!) "Paul Krugman is in puzzlement, having observed that Red States get more welfare funding, while Republican voters oppose the welfare state. He portrays Republicans as “Moochers” who are either hypocritical or too stupid to know their own best interest."

Another fun socialism FACT you'll NEVER hear from Bob or Drugs:

of the 32 states who receive MORE than they contribute 27 states (84%) are REPUBLICAN states.

Of the 18 states that contribute MORE than they receive 14 states (78%) are DEMOCRATIC states (source: taxfoundation.0rg)

BUILT THEIR OWN implies that they did it all on their own...simply not true. and typical attempted spin

Bob, since it's obvious that now your eyesight is failing, let me point out your (untrue) previously posted statement: "......Rail service (Quad Graphics built their own rail siding to efficiently and cheaply bring in bulk raw material)" and as usual, when you're trapped the name calling begins. Oh so expected

Now I get it..."You didn't build that"...Quads rail siding and all those rail cars are a mirage and a lie, so by extension..so am I!! I looked and looked but I cannot find where I opined how it was paid for, I merely stated they built it and made them more productive. I expect you libs to now be just as outraged about where your beloved non-productive Welfare system get's it's money from, unless your hypocrisy won't allow you to acknowledge that fact either.

Clue, you didn't do well in reading comprehension I see. I didn't say that the company in question did or did not pay for the rail spur, but that seems to be more important to you than the fact that the thing was built by forward thinking people who are a sorely needed commodity in Fulton County

haha this gets better: Bob says the Fact is the company built their own spur. Drugs says the fact is they didn't...and the fact that Bob Lied (AGAIN) is a moot point. LOL hilarious

It was NOT about the RR spur, it was ALL about Bob posting UNTRUE "facts". he just makes up whatever suits his need and that is acceptable to you? of course it is because you are him in reality.

NOTICE TO ALL: ....we can't point out lies posted here by Bob or his alter identity Drugs because that's just "nitpicking" hahah drugs doesn't care if the facts are real or not. I expected that all along anyway so I'm not surprised. now in Drugs eyes it's OK for multi million dollar business to reap huge profits yet use taxpayers dollars when they want instead of "dipping into their own pockets" like Bob inaccurately tried to get us to believe even though that was NEVER true...OK, let me keep that one I'm sure I will get the opportunity to fire it back at Drugs during one of his anti intelligible rants here. (locked away for future use)

LOL...what a joke Drug...First, Thank you for verifying that, once again a statement posted by MrBob was NOT TRUE. Thanks much for that. he shows a pattern of untrue statements posted here time and time again he makes a statement and when I question the accuracy of the statement, it becomes a moot point?...Non stop untrue or half true statements posted by him and when I question the validity of the untrue ones, then YOU come to "rescue him"? I love it

GetAClue, who paid for the RR siding in a moot point. The fact is that the company looked into it and discovered that there was other $$ available to pay for the upgrade. Even if they were intending to write the check, that $$ is best used to further the business. Taxpayer $$ spent for an actual improvement and you want to nitpick???
