If this board is asking taxpayers to pay for a project for the next 15 years when we have no idea what is coming down the road with state aid then I expect a 0% increase this year. In a year or two when we are paying for the bond (if it passes) who knows what this district will be facing with state aid and we need to keep that in mind. 5%, 6% or 7% increases in budgets with capital project payments added onto it are just not affordable in our community. Let's see them use this extra aid as it is intended - to aid the taxpayers - 0% tax increase this budget!
