Tiger owner loses court appeal

MAYFIELD — A town man who owns tigers and leopards says he will seek a variance from the town Planning Board as the next step in a three-year battle with the town to keep his big cats....

NY bans the private possession of big cats. People try to circumvent that ban by calling themselves a business and obtaining a USDA license. Clearly this person seems to have tried to cheat the system and now the cats are suffering from the inherent abuse of being kept as pets. Big Cat Rescue may be able to place the big cats as long as the owners contract to never possess another wild cat.

Never understood why he couldn't be satisfied with just a couple of regular house cats like the rest of us.

Contact bigcatrescue**** & see if they will accept them- this is a 501c nonprofit and will take them or find another place for them.
