I've been a proponent of that for years Patriot1 but It's going to have to start with Property Tax payers uniting and paying 50% of the NYS Mandate line on our Tax Bills. No NYS Politician is going to stick their necks out for us, that's evident, to do so will severely limit their power. This has to be a grassroots Revolution with NYS Politicians kept out of the fight by WE The People. Statistics show that the few people who are migrating to NYS are coming out of Michigan. Why? Michigan is another lib disaster and the liberal welfare system in NYS is verrry generous. The same statistic shows many more New Yorkers leaving taking their wealth and moving mostly to The Carolina's and Florida for the same reason; The welfare system in NY is verrrry generous. Before any libs demand I quote the source, you have 2 choices; look it up yourself, it's out there, and comment with knowledge of the issue or continue to be, as usual, low information Americans.

All the tax cuts maneuvers or shifts will not do anything to help until they CUT THE SPENDING WITHIN THE BUDGET!

It is time to mandate spending reductions!

How about having Fulton County's political leaders starting a movement in conjunction with the political leaders of the other 61 counties in the state to pressure the gubernatorial office to decrease the mandates in ALL counties by 50% or backing of an alternative candidate will be approved. Even in a Blue State like New York, a 50% reduction will get everyone's interest, even Democrats!

There will be no relief because all our oily legislators just shrug and blame the other guy for voting for the mandates.

The state should eliminate ALL mandates; if the state wants something then let the state pay for it. At least that way we know which government hacks to blame

This is but one fight of many. I'm already retired and up for another good fight against taking my money and giving it to somebody else. My mandate is to NEVER quit.

We have our own mandate, which, sadly, is to leave NY state after 5 generations in the county asa we retire.
