The last time the king sent back a grant it cost the city $5k in fees at the bank. How much will this one cost the tax payers, that is what we all should be asking ourselves.

I also suspect that since this grant was from 2010, that the prior director applied for the funds and this guy just woke up and realized there was money available, wonder how much he missed from then until now while he was asleep at the switch? king will probably send them back anyway like he did the last 500K...Ringling Bros would be jealous of this clown show..

I hope it gets sent back to the Feds who got the $$$$ from the U.S. taxpayers in the first place. Someone needs to "draw a line in the sand" and say "keep it....we can't be bought".

Since these grants take years to develop, I would suspect that Paul Tonko and his staff may deserve credit here. Of course little boy King has never heard the phrase " You would be surprised how much gets done when you stop worrying about who gets the credit."
