this is such a Non story. NFI was underbid by SWIFT transportation. A driver who was making .40 cents per mile and 21 dollars per stop will be paid .48 cents per mile and 15 dollars per stop. essentially the drivers will remain employed, and get a 20% raise. NFI is an incompetent company that could not handle an account as large as Wal-mart. Swift, having the worst reputation of any trucking company, is large enough to accommodate this account.
