Say one thing for President Barack Obama: When he sets priorities, he sticks to them. Take the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline, which could help the U.....

Obama said that he would stand on his policies... I believe that it is a very weak foundation as DOZENS of democrats are inching away from him and his policies... midterm results are going to be awesome! I say paste the healthcare bill on every incumbent democrat and make them pay for their divisive policies!

Careful with that 'right to choose' meme; to a progressive that means death....'choose your own Doctor, choose your own insurance..you get the point.

ADKman to add to your comment - and let Americans CHOOSE and MONITOR their own health insurance and not be FINED for not being able to afford it!... The RIGHT to CHOOSE - it's what AMERICA is about!

Stop claiming you know about Capitalism adkman. If Keystone was up to Capitalism, it would be already done and you weenie progressives would still be crying about some imagined disaster while filling your tanks with cheaper American gas and heating homes with cheap American NG. Why does American anything bother you so much?

The Keystone Pipeline would create 35 permanent jobs. It would not make America energy independent, nor lower gas prices. Why build it? It makes no sense. Let private companies figure it out. It is what capitalism is all about.

Obama himself says that a lot of knuckleheaded mistakes have been made! On that I agree but not with the part that he stated there was zero corruption... maybe he is too close to the knuckleheads to see the truth!

Thanks Hilltopper, I am sure that GReader loves that you singled him out for all to vent their frustrations over the worst politically motivated policy that was passed into law in the history of the USA! Maybe you would like him to fight some more of your battles for you? How many posters here on the LH site believe any of the numbers that the Obama administration have spun defending this huge failure?

Like this: Michelle Obama: 'Young People Are Knuckleheads,' Which Is Why They Need Obamacare "They're the ones who are cooking for the first time and slice their finger open, they're dancing on the bar stool."

GReader, the least you can do is say thanks. At least know I know where some of my additional premiums went. I would be happy if I could pay more and have the same policy. Got my spouses lab tests yesterday, $1900.00, I guess I will skip mine until I after I pay for my kids college payment. Thanks for nothing.

GREADER: Can I ask for some specifics? - Is your deductible the same? Is it more? Is it less? Could you provide the name of the plan you took and the plan you had? Not that I don't believe you, but I don't believe you. What a coincidence that your savings is the same exact number that this President promised. Hmmm, quite a coincidence. I say NO WAY!!

GReader "My current savings under the ACA will total over $2500 per year including lower premiums ....." Did Obama tell you to post that?

Adkkev, you do realize the Government and every single Democrat Senator, not the Private sector or Republicans, is fully responsible for this economic disaster and all it's iterations. Remember, not ONE sensible member of Congress voted for obamacare. YOU progressives own it lock, stock and barrel, so complain to your hearts content but I will be here to remind you of the short leash Obama has you heel-hound progressives on.

What I noticed Hill is GReader regurgitated word for word the BS Obama threw at us before he told us we could keep our Doctors. Nice try but it's a proven lie.

Jimmy Kimmel mocks Obamacare, asking how many in his audience signed up for Obamacare. Not a single person raises their hand. Kimmel then shows a hilarious spoof ad, making fun of the disastrous Obamacare website.

Nineteen Democratic senators and Twenty-one Republicans signed a letter “We write to raise serious concerns about the Medicare Advantage (MA) 2015 rate notice and the impact further cuts may have on the millions of individuals enrolled in the program,” the senators write. “We are strongly committed to preserving the high quality health plan choices and benefits that our constituents receive through the MA program. Given the impact that payment policies could have on our constituents, we ask that you prioritize beneficiaries’ experience and minimize disruption in maintaining payment levels for 2015.” Tuesday’s letter comes after a similar appeal from House Republican leaders last week, who wrote to President Obama voicing their “deep concern” over expected cuts to the Medicare Advantage program that they blame on the president’s healthcare law. ObamaCare enacted $200 billion in cuts to Medicare Advantage over 10 years.

Yes GReader, Congratulations you are one in a million... or maybe several million that won. Many millions have lost their coverage, the prices went way up or they simply cannot afford it anymore. But hey it worked for you... that is a great thing!

Thousands of people have purchased health coverage through the District of Columbia’s new small-business insurance marketplace, but only a tiny fraction of them actually own or work for a small business.

The rest are members of or work for a single large organization — Congress.

My current savings under the ACA will total over $2500 per year including lower premiums and prescription costs. Plus the coverage is much better.

MrBob: Oracle has a $160 million contract with the state of Oregon. They have not fulfilled their obligation under their contract. So, since they are private, I shouldn't care about what they do/perform in a contract with a government agency? The Oregon gov't managers for this debacle have already resigned, probably for letting the contract being fulfilled for months on end without doing anything about it. Again, I'm not defending any gov't entity or gov't person, national, state, or local; gov't is just as much at fault for this debacle as Oracle.

Adkkev, in case you haven't noticed, the Government is the entity that's ripping off Taxpayers. You CAN do something about that, why don't you? Other than being a stockholder, what a private company does is none of your business unless you want to make it so. The government, however IS your business and you seem ok with letting them steal you blind as you merrily criticize something YOU CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT. Focus on what you can impact.

Fed: I wasn't defending anyone. ToT had stated that Cover Oregon hadn't enrolled anyone, so I responded to that statement. Nothing more. No adoration of anyone. And a private corporation is ripping off taxpayers to the tune of $160 million, & I do hope that some, if not all, of that money can be returned to the taxpayers. Thanks for the correction on the total # for Cover Oregon & the research on the enrollment specifics.

despite the massive increase in the government's marketable debt during Bush's eight years, Obama managed to accumulate more additional marketable debt in his first five years in office than all the presidents who preceded combined.
