Town, village to share treasurer

Above all, do not let your practical ideas become watered down by the mediocrity of the majority of supervisors who talk big but really only want to preserve their own little kingdoms.

jim, you are on the right track but not going far enough. ALL villages have outlived their usefulness and maybe even Towns, Why do we need 20 government to govern 55,000 people in Fulton county . I think abolishing the villages would be a good start.....

We already have one form of shared services in Northville during the summer = 2 porta-pottys in the park.

This Groff fellow seems to have a great vision for some shared services that has been missing in that office for a long time. This step is a great example of what other municipalities should be doing.
