All 50 states dump their trash in other states, why not let the counties swap some.

Stead does what he does and the lethargic supervisors will go on employing him. Meanwhile, we tax paying Fulton County folk didn't pay into OUR landfill to see it filled up early by other county's crap. That $500,000 road study was bad enough but this is sheer folly.

There is absolutely no doubt that county Administrative Officer Jon Stead reached a new, all-time low in offering his opinion that the New York State Open Meetings Law includes an exemption to allow executive sessions based on the "employment history of a contract." Please, please, someone ask the new County Attorney to brief Mr. Stead a little better so that he doesn't blurt out such absolute nonsense.
