Ambushed again? When you have him down... George Zimmerman's Girlfriend Wants to Drop Charges, 'Be With Him' Scheibe's new affidavit taken Dec. 6 stated, "When I was being questioned by police I felt very intimidated...I believe that the police misinterpreted me and that I may have misspoken about certain facts in my statement to police."

Scheibe wrote that Zimmerman "never pointed a gun at or toward my face in a threatening manner" and that "I want to be with George."

Weintraub claims that Scheibe reached out to her and asked that the order barring contact between herself and Zimmerman be lifted.

I believe that MrBob is saying that while we live in progressive land where toaster pastry bitten into a gun like shape gets a 6 year old suspended from school a "thing" that ejects a dangerous projectile is actually a "real" weapon. Just not up to the dangerous level as say you progressive ideals!

taxtired, it wasn't put out there as a challenge, more of a question. Chances are you have no idea of what I can or cannot do, food for thought.

Sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for.

MrBobby: 'Excuse me but they ARE real friggin guns. Real Pellet GUNS, real BB GUNS. '

Yes, very good logic, and we should also consider calk GUNS, glue GUNS, and staple GUNS in the same manner.

adkev, are there any pellet guns that don't look like real guns??? In an age when a bitten toaster pastry can be interpreted as a dangerous weapon, a preschool goes into lockdown because a girl has a bubble gun, and kids get expelled for pointing fingers like guns..... does it ever end ?? Promoting firearm safety is whole different bag of worms than making everything to do with guns scarry

Give them time. You will have to be 21 to own one and then have to register it. The govennment gave me a free assult weapon at 18. Now they want to take it back my rights to own one,

MrBob: you read that from this editorial? That this is "libs" attempt to snatch away your guns? Wow. I guess my ability to "read between the lines" just isn't as great as yours. And here I thought that the editorial was written along the lines of what ToT said,"Pellet guns can kill ... they are not toys ... there is danger but that is where the proper supervision should come into play". BTW, your assumption that all liberals want to confiscate all guns is pretty much akin to that statement that all Christians are like the members of the Westboro Baptist Church. But, as always, you are entitled to your opinion.

Adkkev, "cross off pellet guns that look like real guns". Excuse me but they ARE real friggin guns. Real Pellet GUNS, real BB GUNS. Sorry if my opinion was a bit abstract but the libs target is GUNS, real or imagined.

Usedto, will you please get your posters right. You're so wound up it confuses you as to who posted what. Or does writing 'bobbi' turn you on somehow. You have a bad habit of mistaking posters and it does nothing to help your already shrunken credibility. Try to keep up ok?

MrBob: I am not sure why your first post was a rant against the Christmas police & this newspaper .. the editorial SUGGESTS that PARENTS should weigh the pluses & minuses of purchasing such a gift for a YOUNG child. Kinda like parents taking responsibility for making such a choice of gift, as in providing the child with proper training for the use of such firearms.

I have no problem with teenage years being the minimum age for a pellet/bb gun...but the problem is will parents step up, demonstrate the importance of gun safety and the responsibility that goes with it...they are not toys. The same goes with a teen driving a jet ski...yes, they take a course which hopefully gets across they are a motor vehicle and not a toy. But again parents need to get involved in driving that point home.

Ever use your head or is it a hat rack?

FAWN GROVE, Pa.— The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a 10-year-old boy who was suspended under a school zero tolerance policy for shooting an imaginary “arrow” at a fellow classmate, using nothing more than his hands and his imagination. Johnny Jones, a fifth grader at South Eastern Middle School, was suspended for a day and threatened with expulsion under the school’s weapons policy after playfully using his hands to draw the bowstrings on a pretend “bow” and “shoot” an arrow at a classmate who had held his folder like an imaginary gun and “shot” at Johnny. In coming to Jones’ defense, Rutherford Institute attorneys have asked Rona Kaufmann, Superintendent of the South Eastern School District in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania, to rescind the suspension and remove all references to the incident from Jones’ permanent school record.

Fear is a great motivator too. For example usedto and most every lib that posts here, embedded in their discourse, they will tell us exactly what they fear without realizing it. They can't help it because equivocation, deception and outright drive-by falsehoods presented in passing as facts always give away their motivations. Ever notice this peculiar headline "SUV involved in...blahblah..accident or "SUV runs over pedestrian"...same as guns, SUV's are imbued by liberals with powers reserved for Humans. Their motive is getting rid of both out of some misplaced fear.
