ToT: Please remember that PRIVATE COMPANIES built the ACA website, not the government. PRIVATE, FOR PROFIT, companies were contracted to build the website. Much like the PRIVATE company that was contracted to build the Oregon ACA website, which $43 million later, still isn't up & running. So it would appear that PRIVATE companies are bilking the government (state and federal) out of millions of $$.

This message came to us from Bill in Kentucky.

"Putting things in perspective: March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days. December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day. What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this progressive federal government to build a working webpage. Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!! And in that amount of time - this administration can't build a working webpage."

So Obamacare wanted the costs for our aging population to rise exponentially?

"And I will also note that there are 150,000 million different families that get their health care through their employees," Reid said. "So should all federal employees, although under Obamacare, my insurance costs me about $4,500 more that it did before. Yes, because it is age-related and it wasn't like that before.”

Because government just cannot get to large or powerful?

Diamond Foods made truthful claims about the health benefits of consuming walnuts that the FDA didn’t approve, it sent the company a letter declaring, “Your walnut products are drugs” — and “new drugs” at that — and, therefore, “they may not legally be marketed … in the United States without an approved new drug application.” The agency even threatened Diamond with “seizure” if it failed to comply.

Hey Dave would you rather have me act like you and your progressive friends and simply call you names? Tell you about your lack of reasonable thought? Or about your personal failures that you posted online? I think that you are better off having me cut and past proof your party is flatulent. Your choice Dave... YOUR choice!

Still no security??

A few consumers enrolling in the Washington, D.C., insurance exchange have been guided instead to a fraudulent website, according to an official working for the Health Link portal.

Only two reports have surfaced about this problem, according to Richard Sorian, director of communications, education and outreach for the exchange. He noted that the report could be from the same person.

150 million? How many of them are going to lose their insurance?

"And I will also note that there are 150,000 million different families that get their health care through their employees," Reid said. "So should all federal employees, although under Obamacare, my insurance costs me about $4,500 more that it did before. Yes, because it is age-related and it wasn’t like that before.”

Dave a special edition for you... I am not under a liberals control, you cannot tell me or anyone what we can or cannot do. Not yet anyway but under Obama you are getting much closer. NAME CALLER! Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nv, denied a CNN report saying that he was the only top congressional leader to exempt “some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the law's new exchanges.”

GOP House Speaker John Boehner, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell have all directed their staffs to join the exchange, CNN has reported, citing their aides.

“What does top congressional leaders mean?” Reid asked, during an interview in his Reno office this afternoon. “Like me and McConnell?

TiredOfTax, you are a dummy. Seriously. Do you really think we all want to read your copy & paste crap from right wing websites? Do you think that it makes you look intelligent? Wrong. It makes you look stupid. It clearly illustrates that you are incapable of independent thinking. If we wanted to read this stuff that you post ad naseum, we would google these sites ourselves. You need to stop.

Hall and fellow researcher Robert Greene found that 41 states saw their private sectors shrink from 2007 to 2012. Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho and Nevada have seen the largest contractions in their respective private sectors — in 2012, Nevada’s has shrunk 13 percent below 2007 levels.

However, only three states have seen their private sectors grow more than two percent since 2007. North Dakota saw its private sector explode nearly 25 percent in five years largely due to a boom in oil production brought about by hydraulic fracturing.

Alaska also saw its private sector grow by nearly 7 percent. Texas, which is often touted as one of the best states for business, saw its private sector grow nearly 6 percent from 2007 to 2012.

Federal, state and local governments hired a net additional 338,000 workers in November, equaling 41 percent of the total of 818,000 net additional jobs created in the United States during the month.

At the same time, the unemployment rate for government workers fell from 4.4 percent in October to 3.2 percent in November. (The overall national unemployment rate fell from 7.3 percent to 7.0 percent.)

In October, governments around the country employed 19,726,000 people, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In November, that rose to 20,064,000—a net increase of 338,000 people employed by government.

usedto, would it make you happy if we made your BFF Barry king of the US ??? You seem to dislike anything that may put him in a bad light. BUT there is this thing we like to call the Constitution that forbids titles of nobility and Barry DID take an oath to protect and defend not to bypass and maybe loosely follow. That's what bothers him.

Dave you believe that Obama had nothing at all to do with it? then he is as useful as a bookmark. Well really less than that. You thought that anyone at all believes that the failure is a website? You underestimate people severely. The website is only a prelude to the real trouble and catastrophic failures to come. It isn't at all about a website, it is about a total waste of TAXPAYER money!

TOT, the ACA has a grandfather clause that allows policy holders to keep their crappy insurance. Blame the insurance companies for the cancellation notices, not Obama. These companies are for-profit corporations and are replacing their el cheapo policies with more expensive ones. You really don't listen to anything but the brainiacs at Fox News and right wing radio, do you? You honestly believe that Obamacare is a website, and that everyone hates the ACA? Do you also believe that Obama is a Marxist Kenyan Muslim who must be impeached? It will never happen.

All the solutions are where you progressives fear to go usedto..the Free Market. You know, Capitalism, the progressive nemesis. Yet here you are, in America. The Country that lets you FREELY spew your hate and outrage of American exceptionalism and success while enjoying those very same aspects of American life. Try acting like an American instead of a Sheep.

Bush's legacy will take a long time to fix and can't just be ignored. Look how long it took Democrats to fix Hoover and Cooledge's mess. So because Bush is no longer President, he gets a pass for incompetance? How convenient. We're still trying to pay for two unfunded wars and tax breaks for the elite. Face facts. Calling Obama names fixes nothing. Only thing it does is give you a forum to hide behind your keyboards and type things you would never say in the company of intelligent people. Or tell me what calling him names fixes? OFFER SOLUTIONS

You're still lying TOT, when you said you wouldn't respond to me ever again.
