To all Northville residents, what we have to is come to all B. O. E. meetings starting 2/11/14. We the people can make a lot of changes in our district, in our community.

tax, I agree it is doomed, but I think it's doomed for everyone, including teachers and admins. Where are they going to make up almost $800,000...that's the amount with Edinburg leaving, almost $400,000, and the 6 elem teachers who now aren't being cut is another $400,000 expenditure. Edinburg has made it clear they are going to B'dalbin if the merger passes. How will they come up with this money??...either raise taxes, and/or cut more student programs--a lose/lose for everyone.

Doomed like the Oppenheim and St. Johnsville merger. All for the teachers and admins.

48,7% difference in the tax rates! Northville's rate goes up $186 per 1000 on assessed value, Mayfield goes down $687.67. Northville, do you want to carry Mayfield forever?

Q- How much of the incentive aid is going toward student programs? A- Zero, it's all going toward the tax rate gap..which has doomed this from the start. This is not a good deal for ANYONE.

Keep it as is, don't look for complications and tax increases.

The only thing guaranteed with the merger is that taxes will go up in a very depressed region, the biggest employer and the most lucrative jobs are within the school system whose salary's and out of control benefits are paid by the already overburdened tax payer.
