If anybody is expecting any let up on the stupidity, I hate to burst your bubble. This government only survives because of hysteria & absurdity. Without it the people of this country would likely arise & bring all the idiots behind it down....

If you fear guns, which side of the law are you on? Sure there are dangers with weapons but that is not limited to firearms. Given the reason to want to kill there are many devises that could be used or fabricated from daily items that could be as bad or much more dangerous than guns. Lets look at the problem that causes the murders not the result of a murderous action!

Yes, the anti-gun hysteria is over the top, but so too are the gun advocates who insist the president wants to abolish the second amendment and ban guns entirely. The crazy pendulum swings both ways.

This is yet again, political correctness feeding the "I'm offended" meme in order to make guns the bad guy, when it's really a bad guy that makes guns look bad.

Not to worry Dave, I heard Obama say "If you like your guns, you can keep your guns. Period."

Let's do a poll. Anyone who has had their guns confiscated at any time in your life, please raise your hand.

On today's WNYTdotcom, there are two headline stories about idiots with guns. That's what gets people riled up.

In CT, if the guy with a gun had a knife, no one would be instructed to stay away from the windows.

Just more fear mongering. Scariest part of it all is that there are clowns that believes it all.

Its good the right wing of the LH can find some isolated incidents to try to make a point. However, they license fishing but not guns? No problem with gun ownership but a background check should be mandatory for all purchases.

Dear LH, it's hunting season up here, give the gun hysteria a rest. A bunch of us will be exercising several Rights in the next few months that involve meat, fur and antlers so tighten your sphincters and restrain your angst over guns until after rabbit season.

Dave, In CT, if the guy with a gun had a knife, no one would be instructed to stay away from the windows. Just like Obama you shoot before you listen... news 12 report: "Police say they found the suspect on the fourth floor of James Hall, along with the two persons of interest. Police say that no weapons have been recovered, but they are still investigating. Authorities say that the three are “student-age,” but they have not yet been identified, and police have declined to say whether they were all CCSU students. No charges have been filed at this time."

One reality check for Dave. The magazines that carry bullets have been reduced thanks to Cuomo.

Yes bereal, fishing is licensed but not fishing poles, hunting is licensed but rifles and shotguns are not. Unless someone uses a Contender which requires a pistol permit, hand guns are not very good for hunting game. Whats your point?

Again, a show of hands? Whose guns have been confiscated, ever?

Banning high capacity magazines is not confiscation, nor is banning machine guns and nuclear tipped missles.

Dave, While my guns have not been confiscated my ability to use them has been limited by scarcity of ammo, my magazines are no longer legal at full capacity. Personally I believe that this is just the beginning of a long term plan to eliminate the ownership of guns one step at a time. When society is fearful of a little boy biting his sandwich into the shape of a gun then we have hit bottom.

TOT, to update further the guy had a costume on (after all it was just after Halloween) and the "weapons" were not real. I call for an immediate ban on all costumes for anyone over 12 years old

To clarify, Iwas speakingof the kid at CCSU yesterday that put the campus into lockdown mode......and Pards, The key to your whole statement is "personally I believe".....you're still entitled to an opinion (unless it disagrees with Drugs or TOT, then they would say otherwise)

Dave, do you remember what they WANTED to do in respect to the assault weapons ban? thew wanted to CONFISCATE ASSAULT WEAPONS? Do you wait for your ice cream to melt down your arm before you eat it? We are not willing to wait for the IDIOTS to come demonstrate their authority over us minions... you must fight their unreasonable actions with reactions.

You are not much of a "hunter" if you need a machine gun and 100 round clip to kill a deer.. Dave don't use facts or logic with this gang.. I just went by Dave's and there was plenty of ammo and guns for sale.. They are alittle light on some rounds but that is because it's hunting season and they assured me they will make more bullets.. I got my training in the military, can TOT, drugs, or ann tell us where they served?? Maybe they got their training in the same place they get their "facts"?? LOL

"You are not much of a "hunter" if you need a machine gun and 100 round clip to kill a deer.." Heheh, ever been to Cherry Valley on Opening Day???? You're right gville70, it only takes 1 and ammo isn't really a problem. If it is, get a reload kit, I have one in order to have ammo for my .32 Win. Special. Even 10 years ago it was expensive and hard to find.
