Dave, I read that article from Cornell and it is very compelling. I think you should forward it to the Chinese, once they see it I know they will change their ways. I am only joking, moderation is what we really need. When I follow the money all I see is Al Gore making a lot of money with the same scare tactics used by others to make money. When he starts living a lower carbon life so will I.

usedto, so I should choose one of our "leaders" and just be a follower????? I was taught to always question authority. The clown in our White House can't be much of a leader when he hears everything on the news and knows nothing beforehand. Benghazi, the IRS, and other glitches and cover ups he claims he didn't know until he heard it on the news "just like you"

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, an unapologetic supporter of President Barack Obama, went on a surprising rant about the Benghazi terror attack on Monday, demanding to know why the U.S. government failed to send in “the Cavalry” to save American lives.

“The president is the best security agency, people are sitting in the White House 24/7, there are officers on deck, they are getting an instantaneous report on what’s happening there,” Matthews began. “What were they looking at in forms of assets that could have been sent? Where was the U.S. Cavalry, to use an American image. Where were the people that could’ve come or tried to get there within how many hours it took to save the lives of the people still living? Where were they and why weren’t they called to do it? I’m going to ask that question until I get an answer.”

usedto, you are doing a great job of proving how right I am. Think of the statement that I "blindly follow no one", - nobody should blindly follow anybody

drugs, you must have a horribly dyslexic mind. It is no wonder that you blindly follow absolutely no one and you are constantly on the wrong side of any issue, or is that just your nature to be annoying and opposite ?

TOT only believes the news that suits her agenda, just like every regressive in the country! If she understood she would not have to ask you all what??? Try if you like but she will never get it. There should be a class for regressives to catch up to the REAL world and REAL news.

Fits, just got the name wrong

If everyone is worried about climate change, why pick on the US? China burns un-clean coal, and junks up the atmosphere in Beijing so much so you can't see the sky scrappers. And, while you're promoting this, India is just as bad as an offender as China. Both use coal in manufacturing and in the making of electricity and the plants are dirty. Anything we do here is dwarfed by their pollution. They have no standards. The US also has the cleanest, most environmentally friendly drilling of oil in the world. Why don't all you environmentalists get on Brazil and Saudi Arabia to clean up their act and let the US take charge and drill here because we ARE the best environmentally correct country in the world?

The vast majority of climatologists acknowledge that global warming and climate change are not only real, but caused by man made pollution, such as that from coal fired power plants, the biggest contributor to air pollution in the country.

Actually Dave. The IPCC (a biased AGW group) stated that they are 97% certain mankind is responsible for 50% of the warming. Many scientist think the influence from mankind is much less and even negligible.

Dave, the climate is always changing, we just don't have anything to do with it but the sun does. If you believe YOU are the problem then please leave. Before you do, give us the names of those Climatologists. Make them up, like everything else you puke out here. We'll take your word for it, I promise(cough cough).

Now how can you argue with Yukons post? I believe that his insight is intrinsic. While you are on this information spree what ever happened to the promise that Obama would not add a single dime to the deficit and that he would half the deficit in his first term in office. You simply cannot disagree with this post!

Anna: I suggest you do some research before stating that Rachel Carson had no scientific background. And do some research about DDT - it's use against malaria was NOT banned, the ban was for agricultural use in the US. And DDT lost its effectiveness against malaria because of the ability of the mosquito to adapt to pesticide use (genetics).
