If all of what you say is true...You should seriously consider making posters and holding them up on public property near the bakery..and the cake boss guy, if he is a true gentleman will make sure it's sorted out. I am sickened to hear that you worked and were not paid...wow.

Well, gosh that is sad. I thought paying of workers was the first priority. I thought that the state would actually garnish their wages. I am very sorry to hear that.

Joe, I have in fact done just that, 7 months ago. Nothing I have written is rumor. It is all fact. Being in financial trouble does not entitle you to with hold wages, and then threaten and harass ex employees to try and scare them into doing nothing. According to the DoL, the bakery has ignored several 'Orders to Comply' (pay owed wages) and the next step is court. I don't think the DoL works with rumors, they work with fact, which is why Grandma Millie's will be pursued until they pay up.

ithinkyouknow: precious, a lot of what's printed in the comments section is innuendo and rumour. anyone can post anything. it's obvious the owners face financial difficulties since thats what this specific reality show is about. you should contact the nys labour department if you feel you are owed wages, and let them sort it out.

It is the public's right to know the truth. What better place than a public comments section on an article about the business. It is unfortunate that 'Bakery Boss' has chosen a business with poor ethics to help out and promote. Perhaps the show should pay the former landlords and employees rather than helping the business stay afloat and give the McCormick's more chances to rip people off.

I am not sure the comments section is the appropriate place to vent about issues with the owner of the bakery. It seems like the trolls are out in force!

Gosh Scott, perhaps if your business is doing so well, you can finally pay the back wages the Department of Labor says you owe former employees!

I would like to see a friend paid for her back wages and my communities building owners paid the rent they are owed. I am all for honest, hardworking people who pay what they owe before they are glorified in the newspaper and on television. Jealousy does not have anything to do with this.

I hope they do well !!! There is nothing like a good bakery. Grocery store bakeries can not even come close to what bakeries offer.

Funny I am usually so negative about things but this sounds like it could be a good thing for the area. Last time Fulton county was on the networks it was for the Stupid ICE CREAM Truck wars! I can't seem to find news related stories about them owing the Glove Theatre any money or the county. If someone has links to these stories I'd love to see it. They must need help as that is the purpose of the show.

This is great news !! We are finally going to be getting some positive press and a local business is getting a fresh start. Why do people have to post negative things? This show will attract people from all over, and they will be stopping at your business to buy fuel, antiques or whatever, on their way to see the new bakery.

I know I am looking forward to seeing the bakery and the show, you should also.

These people owe money everywhere they go, they are not to be trusted, they should not be helping them until they help all those that they owe money to.

"County Planning Director James Mraz reported to the Buildings and Grounds-Highway Committee May 29 that he sent a letter to Grandma Millie's regarding: an overdue May lease payment, overdue sewer fees for May, late penalties for May, and overdue water payments for February, March and April."

So was this not correct back in May, only 6 months ago?

Utilities AND rent on a local government owned property is public knowledge. Which means those payments can be viewed by the public, IF you look rent and utilities have been up to date for 8+ months. Way to research the facts BEFORE speaking. Good Job Residents!!!!
