Ignorance may be costly

October 14, 2013

One wonders, sometimes, whether President Barack Obama and others in the White House pay any attention to their own administration’s energy forecasts....

usedto, you have taken this personal attack to the point that you are no longer relevant.

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an un armed person. If you dad had bought a pig instead of having you - he could have been the biggest pig farmer in the county.

No matter how you slice it, the Obama presidency will go down in History as the failure that Obama deserves. It is HIS decision to let this shutdown go on, it is HIS decisions that have led us to this point where tea party members feel that they must stop the spending spree that the Obama administration has been on. If he had been more into compromise all along we would not be at this point in HIS PRESIDENCY!

wow usedto, a somewhat coherent thought. I have no political saviors. They are all a bunch of crooks who have forgotten that they work for us. An elected position is the tip of the iceberg of the gateway to becoming a multi-millionaire. Not the way it was intended. How about we the people change everybody in the next election -- DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY INCUMBANT -- that may send a message.

The constitution IS a list of negative things that the government can't do. That's the way it was intended: to limit the power of government. You should read it, drugs, after you finish listening to Rush, Sean, Coulter, LeVine, and the rest of your buddies. I know, I'm a sheeple. come to think of it, you never offer up your savior! Is it Cruz, Palin, Paul? C'mon, who is it? Oh, you don't have one? Probably take the easy way out with an "anyone but Obama". To that I say Hillary.

As the title of this editorial says - "Ignorance may be costly" - too many people do not want to be enlightened or they see truth as propaganda from the other side.

Sooo.... Barry is a Constitutional defender????

Less than a week before the first election " We are 5 days away from fundamentally changing the United States of America"

More than a few times he said that the Constitution was a list of negative things the gov't can do. He has pushed for the repeal of the Second Amendment, He has also mentioned that the Constitution "is old and outdated" - and he has stated that "we are no longer a Christian nation" along with his statements that "he would do more but the Constitution gets in the way" -- Executive orders to circumvent the constitutional process. --- need more?????? have another glass of Kool-ade

drugs...Anyone who is truly confident of their opinions and actually presents a strong/valid argument has no need for namecalling. The accusation made by someone toward a US President, be it Obama, Bush or anyone that they "hate the constitution" makes any defense unnecessary.

laker, why not trying to present an argument FOR Barry's defense?? instead of merely accusing me of name calling. Could that be because there is no defense ? That I am telling truths you and usedto refuse to acknowledge ?

your fleece is showing

How perfect...when in doubt, revert to name calling. To maintain this sophisticated dialog, I guess an appropriate comeback to sheeple would be...."I know you are but what am I."

drugs...It's still not a matter of blindly defending Obama. But when it comes to those 2 specific accusations: "he hates the constitution", and "supports terrorists"....I consider that to be nonsense.

OK laker, I may go over the top with the sorry excuse in the White House, BUT way too many sheeple defend him like a god and will follow him like the Pied Piper. The fact is that we know less about his past than we do for your local mayoral candidates??? You claim not to defend him, yet never fail to admonish me for being truthful when I say that he hates this country's Constitution, or refer to his support of terrorists. IF that is not defending George Soros favorite son, then what is?????

1. Nuclear energy (standardized construction). 2. Natural gas - support hydrocracking. 3. Oil - it's not disappearing! 4. Coal - it still has its place in a number of areas.

Support them all - energy independence for the United States takes a number of international burdens off our back and dynamically elevates our economy.

HILLTOPPER: I believed you. I read the same thing in Mad Magazine and The Weekly World News while I was checking out at Walmart the other day. I had a lot of time since the EBT card system went down with the person checking out in front of me and he couldn't raise anyone on his IPHONE!

Um... Hilltopper... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that Bush quote you printed is from the Daily Currant. It's like the Onion. It's a satire website. We all know that Bush will never admit to the debacle that was Iraq.

Tell me again HILL why I should blame Bush for Obamacare, Benghazi, IRS, AP? Please tell me. Or just answer with a question like most libs do.

Like I said HILLTOPPER, I cant blame you for living in the past. Didn't think you could answer it directly. You use the same playbook that every elitist liberal uses. Deflect and demonize but never answer when the answer is bad. Oh well, you didn't surprise me - Keep living in the past. Tell me, do you still wear a leisure suit? Of course you will answer that question with a question, like most libs do!
