I was so pleased to finally see Fonda take action with this crossing. I was nearly killed here myself when my car it the dip just before the crossing that had frozen over causing my car to spin out landing me on the track. I was trapped, unable to escape for what seemed forever. Then suddenly with one final try and the train bearing down on me I got my car free bending the under carriage of my car but saving my life. Two weeks later a woman was not so lucky and died on these same tracks. I know it will be an inconvenience to have these tracks closed but I am sure the town will find a suitable solution to this inconvenience.
