Agreed the public should have been informed. But I must wonder why after the LH obtained the information that only then did Mayor King think he should speak up, if he was serving the public of the city why did he not inform the public and the school district before.

I wonder what the protocol is for disseminating information while removing these wastes. It seems the real danger is during the move unless someone breaks in a deliberately mixes the chemicals. I do agree there is no reason why the public could not be notified as to what is going on and what if any danger there is in a timely manner.
