This was not " a work place incident", The politically correct crowd let this weasel infiltrate our armed forces. Treason should be added to the list if charges, or just shoot him as an enemy combatant. But first show him that the bullet that he will be shot with was soaked in pig blood. This action has been a waste of taxpayer money - he should have been dead long ago.

And until proven guilty, hasan has accrued over 270,000 dollars in pay since the shooting. Because the administration has labeled this workplace violence and not an act of terrorism, the victims and their families are not eligible for benefits they should getting. Disgusting! How anyone can defend this president is beyond me regardless of your politics

Gloversville s ladder truck price is way too much. Most of the items like the mid mount platform and the 500 gal tank are nicities not necessities. You can purchase a 100' rear mount with a 1500 gal per minute pump much cheaper and it will do the same job.

1stwardcitizen, If the city gets a truck that can pump 1500 gallons per minute I hope that they never try and get that amount of water from any fire hydrant in the city because I believe that it would collapse the out dated water lines in the city and then we would see the real intelligence of the city leaders are and were when they built the high rises.

swizzer -" the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family" - He is an American citizen and I'm sure his acts fit into the first phrase here.

Here's a tip for ya pally -- Be sure brain is in gear before fingers start to type

Obama has usurped the presidents power so that he can do as he wants. EVERYONE knows that this was an attack by a radical Islamic and that it was not a simple workplace incident. Remember that list, yes this is on it. It is a travesty that he is allowed to spew his hate in court and the liberal media is lapping it all up. This is what our country has come to under Obama.

Sooo, rs, our self-identified Lawyer does not know the definition of Treason. How many holes in your foot can you take before you knock off your sham?

Question is where were the Military police at Ft Hood while this jerk was shooting up everything in sight at the base. This shooter should have been shot then and the MP who shot that fool should have been rewarded and had the MP had done their job they may have saved some lives..

Ron, the answer is: Fort Hood is a Federal gun free zone and the muslime pig knew that and where the most targets of opportunity would be. Workplace violence my ***. Just another liberal excuse to disarm Americans. It's no longer 'ironic' that most all of these types of mass murders occur in target rich gun free zones that liberals love so much.

Pards13/drugs: he hasn't been declared an enemy of the state nor has it been established that he he acted in defiance of the interests of the US.

Despite his outside 'influences', it seems this is just one p-issed-off guy.

Oh, also, being a Muslim isn't enough to be declared an enemy in the same that being Protestant or Jewish isn't.

MrBobby: 'workplace violence' is mentioned nowhere in this 'editorial'.

You simply made it up and then said 'liberals are calling it that' when in fact that couldn't be further from the case.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. Please explain why he is not charged with treason according to the constitution. Thanks.

swizzer, of course he hasn't been declared an enemy of the state. Early on "they" (the state) declared the incident as "work place violence" when in fact it was an act of terrorism by a Muslim mole in our military that got there through lies and deception. And why would our Muslim leader declare a fellow Muslim an enemy???

"nor has it been established that he acted in defiance of the interests of the US." REALLY ?????? Do you have another term for shooting US soldiers at a military base in our own country?????

Rs, the headline of this story is TRUTH must be told. That leaves you out. By the way, is the term muslime pig too personally offensive to you? I'm more curious how you, a self anointed highly educated lawyer, don't know the definition of treason while we uneducated idiots DO????? You're still nothing but a phoney kid trying to be heard.

RS, why do you progressives protect the guilty? Why do you all, always side with anyone anti USA? If you and your like minded progressive liberals actually had the UNITES States Of AMERICA in mind... why would you continue to cheer on the terrorists? Why do you want to set free all the detainees in Gitmo? Why do you side with the Boston bombers? Why do you side with criminals over lawful citizens? I question the motives of YOUR kind of fellowship when you NEVER have supported the RIGHT side.

No I don't, but when the religion you practice commands that you kill anyone who practices a different religion, I think there is something wrong. Are you defending radical Islam as something we should embrace????

Maybe it's just me but I try not to get too friendly with those who would just as soon cut my head off as look at me.

It is time for another Black Jack Pershing episode. That stopped radical Muslims for about 50 years.
