Laker, simply said, Constitutional Individualism is the polar opposite of progressivism (total Govt. reliance), that our Constitution is the road map and individualism (self-reliance) is the path to success without Govt. intervention. Many liberals here and elsewhere refuse to engage in the comparison and defend their ideology because to do so would paint them in the collectivist corner with no retreat. To actually admit their collectivist goals would foil their attempts to fool their 'victims' into believing they are 'for the people'.

Yes I believe that is correct, TOT..solver of country's problems with peaceful solutions. Simply remove all progressive ideas from our once strong country and peacefully we would again regain our pride and strength! Thanks for the recognition!

Bob....I'm not sure of the definition of constitutional individualism, but as for my political views, it depends on the issue. I suppose I'm "liberal" on some, "conserv" on others, especially with some societal issues such as the family unit, which I sadly see eroding in many cases.

I can't remember agreeing with "everything" that anyone writes. It's too bad you're so obsessed with dividing the world into Libs and Conservs with no inbetween, as your comments reflect in practically every post. Maybe she does have lib views on certain topics, but her reporting on China dealings in Darfur, torture camps in Zimbabwe, reports on Nigeria's military dictatorship and many other journalistic ventures have won her many awards and accolades from all sides, and they have nothing to do with your libs vs conservs world.

Laker, Google the author and read her stuff... if you agree with everything she writes you can even call yourself a progressive! I leave it up to the readers to make up their own minds on what is fact and what is liberal liar speaking so you can draw your own conclusions... you shouldn't need my help!

tot...Just curious, did you pick out one Hilary Andersson article about a concealed carry permit and arrive at your conclusion that she is the most "liberal and biased author on the web." I read the link, would you point out the fiction please. Also curious as to how a "liberal and biased" author could keep her job for 22 years at such a "liberal" institution as the BBC???....She has been praised by both ends of the political spectrum as one of the best in the business, and her awards/credentials speak for themselves.

MrBob... that is a very insightful statement to Dave, if you tire of being called a liberal liar he should stop with the lies... so simple even a caveman could do it!

Oh Dave... I loved your proof. I read the news story in your link and enjoyed the fiction so much I looked up the author and read several more stories that Hilary Andersson wrote. All I can say it that I cannot believe that after complaining so vehemently about partisan websites you would choose the most LIBERAL and BIAS author on the web to use as YOUR PROOF! I really liked her STORY about getting a concealed carry permit... not THAT'S entertainment! Thanks for your link, it made my day!

PS maybe you and RS should get together as he is a very successful business operator and you seem to need the input... just saying.

TiredOfTax, those two nutties in Boston were in fact inspired by conservative right-wing propaganda.

What news are YOU reading? NewsMax or the Ted Nugent Times?

drugsrus, that STILL doesn't answer the question. You suggest closing ALL embassies, not just the ones where you think 'American's aren't welcome'. So I guess no more visits to Montreal or London, despite Canada and the UK being close friends of the US?

Liberals, right wing, admiring/excusing terrorism, name calling..huh?? What a waste of time. Instead of whining/complaining, it would be nice to hear some constructive ideas about dealing with these senseless acts of terrorism. There has been much progress made against Al Qaeda but difficult to stamp out completely. There's zero proof of any Al Qaeda connection betwn McVeigh or the Boston Bombers....but these lone wolf terrorists are as dangerous and sadly are becoming a fact of life. Whether they are left wing, right wing or members of the Brady Bunch, they're slaughtering innocent people. Pretty sad when bomb making 101 is all over the internet, but I guess some believe that we must continue to allow it in print or it would be "trampling" the constitution, or there's always the "so-called logic" that if bomb making instructions are made illegal to print or post on internet, they'll find a way to do it anyway. So let's just keep it there and make it easy for eve

Lets see dave, if you're if you're tired of being called a liar then quit being a liberal liar. Liberals like you appear to admire terrorists and blame America first and foremost, it's not surprising. Both liberals and the cult of islam hate and want to destroy anyone who doesn't believe or think as they do, lie if it advances their agenda and both are bigoted to the extreme. By the way, those 'right wing extremists' you refer to are all of us who do not follow the liberal/progressive ideology and we scare the h*ll out you. No wonder you excuse terrorists, to condemn them is to condemn yourselves.

Dave "propaganda and conspiracy theories that said 911 was a federal plot to get us to invade Iraq. It was a conspiracy" Would fit in EXACTLY with the LIBERAL logic. NOT the right wing! Where do YOU sit while you dream up these connections!

He was influenced by an ISLAMIC CLERIC! You are on a road like the president that is in the exact opposite direction than what is right! I know it may be hard to believe but they were Muslims that studied the works of radical Islam. So just what radical right winger is against killing Islamic radicals? I believe that the nut job here is you Dave. These two had ZERO connection with the right wing of politics. Or please Dave give us your PROGRESSIVE PROOF that they were!
