You know what else is good news? That the economy picked up better than expected.

But no, we can't possibly 'fixate' on that, much less give credit to where it's due.

Ahh, but let's look a bit closer. Twenty seven jobs at Frontier's Network Operations Center that pay over $32.00/hr gone to Allen Texas. These are replaced by minimum wage positions at Wally World. So the math dictates that 81 minimum wage jobs needed to replace the economic loss to the area. Looks like we have indeed lost ground.

RS the credit is not due to OBAMA! His policies have slowed growth in every sector except GOVERNMENT JOBS! Employment is up in numbers but down in FULL time employment so it is DOWN in hours. (Due to Obamacare). The lower bank failure rates are nice but that is because NOBODY took out loans and if your credit isn't pristine you are not going to get a loan. The economy is on a false high but when the true number on the debt gets out... it is going to be another page in O-bummers failures!

TiredOfTax, I've run a business for several years. Don't you attempt to tell me how finance and economics work.

LOL! The economy tanks under Bush's watch and it wasn't his fault. It was Obama's fault when things were bad. Now that things are picking up, Obama doesn't get any of the credit? You can't have it both ways.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg would strongly prefer that whoever replaces him doesn’t run the city like Detroit and have to declare bankruptcy like the Motor City did last month.

So he gave a speech this morning outlining the importance of curtailing rising pension costs and ominous “special interest politics,” which he defined as the “most dangerous of all” threats.

“The reality is, we may be a long way from Detroit,” Mr. Bloomberg declared, according to his prepared remarks. “But we are only a short distance from relapsing into decline.”

Dave the DEMOCRATS held both houses while the economy tanked... is it not their fault? For Obamas first two years the democrats had the majority in BOTH HOUSES and President... what did they do to stem the tide? THEY SPENT!

"TiredOfTax, I've run a business for several years. Don't you attempt to tell me how finance and economics work". UhOh, Rs is trying to slip in the Big Lie once again. You're as credible as all the massaged numbers that paint a rosy picture which doesn't exist. The only number that means anything is the Labor Force Participation Rate. Read it and weep.

No Anna, your taxes will not go down. As a 'goodie giver' you still have the 'goodie takers' in front of you, hand out palm up demanding $.56 of every property tax dollar you pay. If you don't pony up, the State and it's bevy of moochers will take it ALL.

Hey Bob ... even if you eliminated every "moocher" in Fulton County your taxes wouldn't go down. Most of your "moocher" dollars go to the Fulton County ARC.

That was pretty clever rs. Oh well. As a liberal, you have the right to remain ignorant. You have the right to your own opinion but not your own facts. Everything you say will be used against you in the court of public opinion. You have the right to represent yourself as anything you choose as you watch your credibility destroyed. If you cant afford to cite real facts because of your ideology, they will happily be provided for you. Now, lets sum your supposed economic and financial acumen; knowing who pays for your next bag of cheetos (finance) and getting the most bag for the buck (economics) isn't anything to brag about.

Nope adkkev, $.54 of every property tax dollar I pay goes straight to MC Welfare Dept.. Both you and rs really should knock off the bigotry against The FC ARC, but then again, those who are unable to defend themselves are always perfect targets for liberals to offend...they don't talk back. Attack me instead of going after our special needs citizens you low life creeps.

Mr.Bob, Please tell me where the FC ARC is located and who operates it and where in the FC budget do you find the money appropriated to it from the Fulton Co. taxpayer.
