Proposal a problem

August 5, 2013

Why is it that almost always, when the word “reform” is used in Washington, it means bigger, more expensive government? And why is it that when liberals talk about creating jobs, they really intend......

I guess the real question is if you are cutting something how are the proceeds generated. As usual the devil is in the details. Oh wait, we have to pass it to see what is in it.

Well EVERYTHING this president proposes IS a problem. His ideas are a litmus test. you wait to see what he proposes and then do the exact opposite. Guaranteed success! Just put up a clean sheet of paper and continue to write down his failures, you can write his successes on a mini sticky note!

"In what universe does a tax cut give government more money?" You have got to be kidding. Note to LH: It's a proven fact that lowering taxes brings in much more revenue to the Fed. Govt than raising taxes. A fact that dems are still not able to grasp. Since Reagan shoved the truth of it down their collective throats, liberals are STILL in denial. Rs, it's not just a problem for this paper, this President is an All American problem. But with Statist collectivists like you and other liberals, obama is conducting normal business as usual.

TiredOfTax, sorry, but can you elaborate?

And therein lies the problem you fake Republicans like MrBob face: you tell the president to cut without suggesting WHAT to cut.

And then when he DOES cut, you scream and complain.

And let me be clear, I WILL list all of Obama's failures for you but we need to talk to the LH about the character limit. Or we could just list his successes... in a couple of words. How specific do you want me to be?

"Funding new government jobs programs" simply means creating another layer of bureaucracy which takes more tax money from producers to fund a program which does not create productive jobs, but simply takes more money from the private sector which in fact diminishes the capability of real producers to expand their efforts and create more jobs.

I do not have the time this morning adkkev, but lets start with the statement "al Qaeda is on the run"! Obama has described al Qaeda as having been “decimated,” “on the path to defeat” or some other variation at least 32 times since the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, according to White House transcripts. I believe that he has divided the muslim world from us quite nicely. Who is running to hide from them as we type? It is the USA from that decimated, weakened on the run terrorists. Another great job!

RS I HAVE A JOB! You know employment? I have cited my sources many times but PROGRESSIVES do not like it when they are not progressive today or MSNBC so why tell you? I will get time later tonight after I do all my duties for work and family, I will then take the time to help you to understand how ignorant you truly are and how your statements are as childish as your thoughts. Hang in there and I will give you all of the SPARE time that I have left!

OK Here we go. 1) Obama said he would close Gitmo in his first year in office, remember he had the majority of both houses and could pass anything his heart desired. 2)He opened his mouth on the Cambridge cop who was the policeman in charge of racial correct police interactions... the training officer to be exact and has a pristine record. When the professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. was trying to break into his own home was arrested for disorderly conduct. The only racist there was Obama and the professor, the policeman acted professionally. 3)The complete mishandling of the auto bailouts, costing the US taxpayers BILLIONS when if left to themselves an even better outcome would have emerged and without costing the taxpayers a cent. 4) THE CASH FOR CLUNKERS!! This was a double down thrashing of the auto industry. It was a huge mistake that is costing the american lower to middle class to this day. 5)The cut and run in Iraq. BY ABANDONING the Iraqi government at the worst time.

continued: It let the country lapse back into a full civil war that left the door open to the Islamic radicals... it WILL be back to bite us. 6) The green investments! What a huge drain on taxpayer funds! This alone is a huge blunder, it would take far less time to list the success stories for companies that survived but it is very hard to locate any that haven't bankrupt... we even gave money to fisker Automotive... Fisker spent $1.4 billion on the production of one car, and is now broke. Benghazi, even with warnings weeks in advance, requests from embassy for greater security forces and many other warnings we allowed the TERRORISTS to level the place killing 4 Americans, then cover ups and denials were all the answers we have gotten to date. 7) IRS targeting Tea party groups. 8) NSA taking the snooping of taxpaying everyday Americans to an astronomical new high level! You know there are so many that it is hard to remember them all... I will let you digest these for now.

In a remarkable admission that is likely to rock the Internal Revenue Service again, testimony released Thursday by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp reveals that an agent involved in reviewing tax exempt applications from conservative groups told a committee investigator that the agency is still targeting Tea Party groups, three months after the IRS scandal erupted..

In closed door testimony before the House Ways & Means Committee, the unidentified IRS agent said requests for special tax status from Tea Party groups is being forced into a special "secondary screening" because the agency has yet to come up with new guidance on how to judge the tax status of the groups.
