While you celebrate our country's freedom please keep an eye on your children, keep them safe. I heard today of a young Gloversville boy nearly drown in their backyard pool. Please do not let your family provide this type of terrible news. Be safe!

and a good way to celebrate the day would be to read the founding documents, the Declaration if Independence with the family. Celebrate Independence Day - not the fourth of July - 7/4 is merely a date.

Understand the Declaration and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and you will see how out of control the government has gotten

You can read those docs a million times and still misinterpret them.

swizzer are you here legally??? It sounds like you should be Barry's right hand man. The founders constructed these documents with more thought than you have put in all your posts put together.

Rs, YOU and all progressives misinterpret those documents. You see, I celebrate and admire those of us who stand up and shout "Look at what I have accomplished because of equal opportunity, I am a success because of ME"!!!! Those people are individualists who have taken advantage of the opportunities afforded by those documents you don't understand or object to. I have no sympathy for your progressive victims who instead constantly complain and whine "Look at what you made me do"!!!! After they were 6 years old, my children would not dare to say that phrase because they knew the consequences and yet progressives encourage that kind of childish behavior then expect everybody else to do something about it. Not me.

MrBoB51, not buying it. Because you fake conservatives always take the wheel and turn it into a p-issing contest and claim 'Well, you're American, but I'M more American than you!' which is about as big baloney as anything.
