Good advice!!! Perhaps what we need to do is cut summer vacation up into 2 weeks around July 4th and 2 weeks around labor day.

How about we get our fat kids outside and enjoy this beautiful place we live in.. Schools are fine but I learned alot hiking up gifford's gorge and the placid trail as a kid..

Little Johnny will get free breakfast and lunch over summer? That's like the teacher, Miss Crabtree, getting a paycheck over the summer and not working.

I'm not against a hungry child having a free meal in the morning. I'm against parents that have kids that they cannot or will not care for. While they are at it maybe they should feed the kids mind.
