Two weeks ago two common council members show up at a Town Board meeting and invite them to discuss the cooperative development agreement already in place. Today the mayor of Gloversville says that agreement may not be legal and is not in the best interest of the city of Gloversville even if it was a good faith trade for supplying services so the Walmart Super Center could go forward. It seems to me all that is needed is a simple yes or no. Is the existing agreement valid or not. If not, why would any municipality ever sign another good Faith agreement that promises services in trade for annexed land? If yes, why is there any more discussion? Let's use that agreement.

It would be good to know if the people on this committee were elected or appointed. Meetings open to the public is necessary and it would serve all people well in Fulton County if all cities, townships and municipalities were involved. The main problem with this county is too much government yet people continue to pay for their namesake.

The "team" needs to go on hiatus until Fulton County’s plan to develop a "SMART" water and sewer system, resulting in the consolidation of all water and sewer services in Fulton County is complete and fully implemented. Gloversville and the Town of Johnstown really have nothing to talk about until and unless the consolidation of the water and sewage services are realized. The concept of continued annexations by the cities of Gloversville and Johnstown as has occurred in the past to the cities benefit while a complete loss to the Town of Johnstown’s have reached and end. It is refreshing to see some new faces and ideas being used to address this simple issue.

Stack, you mean 19 Fiefdoms where you silly property and business owners foolishly think you can keep YOUR best interests at the forefront and not theirs. So FC gets another team of losers who can't get past their own agendas and you're supposed to say 'hooray!! Finally somethings going to get done!!!' (as you wait for good jobs to appear from the *new* Teams accomplishments). Any one else sick of our Counties leaders who constantly SAY they're going to make things better while we slide further into a crappy economy? Believe what YOU SEE around you and your cost of living here not what some local political clown tells you to believe. How much is this *team* getting paid and by whom, by the way.

Team meetings should also be open to the public, IMO. Shouldn't come down to attending a public hearing once something has already been decided.

How many teams does it take to govern 55k people? This entire county couldn't fill Rich stadium 2/3 of the way. Why do we need a team at all? We already have nineteen governments(dysfunctional as they are). Why cant they just do what we pay them for?

Development Process Team under the Cooperative Development Agreement applies specifically to the city of Gloversville and the town of Johnstown so it is important that the two entities continue to meet. Aside from that, it certainly would be beneficial to have all municipalities be able to sit down at the table and work cooperatively for all in the county without fighting amongst ourselves. Hoping that someday I will see this happen.

Agreed that the team need both cities but it also in My opinion needs people from other areas of the county on the team because what ever the cities and town of Johnstown do will affect the rest of the entire county. All municipalities in the county should be working together to get what is best for the entire county and all the residents of the county.
