A politician can pull off only so many well-timed maneuvers before even his staunchest supporters must admit the efforts do not pass the smell test....

I remember before his first election, Obama stated that the "Bill of Rights are bills of negative rights". No one questioned this. It is no surprise that his administration would try to dismiss the fact the the Bill of Rights purpose is to resist an oppressive government.

and he also stated that "in 5 days" he was going to "fundamentally change the United States of America". He knows that he can't run again, so we cannot let him out of our sight. He is still letting the Muslim Brotherhood in through the back door.

Really? I'm shocked! I think that Obama can do whatever he wants say whatever he wants and will get away with it all! He has worshipers. He has the press in his pocket and even when he wrongs his friends they still chuckle and go along for his ride of a lifetime! He is grooming the future of democrat votes as we speak having the immigration issue on the road to citizenship it is going to be harder than ever to get anything but liberal elected nationally. He has been successful in his liberal agenda and I have doubts that it can ever be corrected.

Not everyone is against our president because they are racist...only DRUGSRUS keeps spewing racist remarks, no one else that I can see finds it necessary, but Drugs usually find it necessary to back up his insane right wing **** he spews here with racist remarks....it's OK though, we've come to expect it from him.

There isn't a politician in D.C. that isn't a "typical D.C. insider". The people who run this country are completely out of touch with reality both on the left and the right sides. This is why I voted 3rd party during that last presidential race because we need people in charge who aren't influenced by the DemoCrap and RepubliCon parties telling them what to do.

drugs....the polls clearly show that everybody is not against him. And compared to Bush, O is Great...although that's not much of a compliment.

GetAClue, why is it that if you disagree with this administration, you are a racist?????? Why is it that racism is a one way street????? Why are we afraid to put Islam in a negative light???? My comment about everybody letting the Arab Muslim slide was not racist, Barry is not black, he only looks it. And I really wouldn't care if he was green, if he was not trying to destroy this country and turn it into something that we don't want.

Bush did nothing during his presidency? Really? I'm not defending the IRS fiasco or the listening in on the free press now..The groundwork for all this mess was laid by the patriot act that both parties will take advantage of.. If you think this is a dem or rep issue you're wrong.. Long gone are the days when we can listen to the nightly news and believe what they say..

If the President 'asked' Mr. Schumer to re-introduce the bill, wouldn't that be a good thing? Exactly how is that a bad thing? Or did the LH trip in its own logic, since it's supposed to 'protect from the Obama administration?'

drugsrus, funny because you and the others have been saying that the country is headed toward utter diestruction and Islam since 2008.

That hasn't happened, and in fact, the country is long on the mend, as all indications show.

But you keep dismissing facts for whatever is laser-beamed into your brain each morning and believe what you want.

I find it funny this 'editorial' calls Mr. President a 'DC insider' while making no mention of people who have been in DC since the when Mr. Obama was in grade school. Republicans and Democrats included.

Actually Obama is more of a Chicago mafia thug, he really does not have the typical class of a DC insider. His background as a community organiser even sounds like a front to criminal activities. And civil rights attorney... Civil rights include freedom of speech, press, and assembly; the right to vote; freedom from involuntary servitude; and the right to equality in public places, I wonder where all that experience went?

"TiredofTax" & "rschweitzer" are both right. President Obama is not a DC insider, he his part of the Chicago syndicate who has used the DC insiders, including the political machine and the press, to his and his "friends" full advantage. The problem is that he got caught, not once, not twice, but so many times it is utterly shameful. It is inarguable that the press has fully supported his every move with a complete unwillingness to challenge anything this adminstration has done as possibly wrong in any manner. A bigger question might be why?

Hopefully, Congress and the Judiciary will get to the bottom of this extreme political wrongdoing. The President cannot continue to take the position that he or his handlers didn't know about what was going on. Either you were fully engaged in the wrongdoing or you didn't have control of your staff. Both are separate and distinct, but wrong nonetheless.

Another failed presidency, spinning out of control.

I'm still asking how he even got on the ballot to be a senator, with his shot out of a cannon - here I am, I'm wonderful -- popularity. Oooh that's right it was Chicago politics.

The rising star for the democrat party, you need only be a democrat to be elected in NYS! It does not matter if you lie, cheat or send out pictures of your junk. Former Rep. Anthony Weiner has slashed away at front-runner Christine Quinn’s lead in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, according to a poll released Tuesday, cutting her advantage in half in a little over a month.

All the points are mute because the press didn't vet Obama's comments, including "spreading the wealth" with Joe the Plumber and his negative bill of rights comments. No one questioned his motives. Even the Leader didn't vet the president so I feel it's a mute point to discuss after the fact.

For several decades, middle class americans have been on the "outside"...and they've been steadily shrinking thanks to a system that is stacked against them, and which so heavily favors the wealthy elite.

Drugs: trying to defend yourself and using two racist remarks in teh same sentance ..."My comment about everybody letting the Arab Muslim slide was not racist, Barry is not black, he only looks it." ...this only reinforces the fact that you are indeed a racist and that's what bothers you the most about our president...he's not white.....pretty simple thanks for clarifying that point for us all again by opening your mouth.

GetAClue, I've said it before and I'll say it again -- just for you-- I don't care what color he is black, green, fucia, cyan, magenta, brown, it makes no difference. This joker is out to destroy this country. The oath of office means nothing to him. So stop with the racism calls, you are just proving that you have no argument.

laker, if you're just figuring that out, I have a question. Where did this guy come from??? He came on the scene like the man from Mars in the old movie and made a meteoric rise to the top. We know less about him than just about anybody else in Washington or any other political sphere. Sarah Palin's life is all out there. Dad moved the family to Alaska from Idaho or Montana. She was a cheerleader and sports star in high school and on and on. Many of Barry's supporters don't even know that his mom's 2nd hubby Lolo Soetoro adopted the lad in Indonesia and the elementary school he attended there is proud of their American president.

drugs...you've taken a page from Donald Trump. "Where did he come from...??..."We know less about him...??" And your last sentence????...It's difficult to begin to respond to such an incomprehensible post. And Yukon is right...the fanatical right wing of the GOP is inflicting more damage on their own party than the Dems could ever do....case in point, the last election.
