There will NEVER be enough when the people in charge will SPEND EVERY PENNY THAT THEY EVER GET! WIthout spending constraints there will never be a balanced budget. This administration as well as past administrations have been spending at unsustainable rates. Even if the wealthy could pay everything for everyone why should they? What percentage of your own life are you responsible for on your own? How about if I do not feel like getting a job? Can I stay home and be supported by someone else? What happened to pride in taking care of yourself and your family and being ashamed to have to live on handouts?

Yes there wikk never be enough until the U.S. congress starts doing the jobs they were elected to do. It is the congress that controlls the purse strings. And they are only willing to cut spending of needed items for all our people like maintaing our infurstructure like roads and bridges. They are very willing to give large amounts of our tax dollars to forign countries while they allow our country and its people to be destroyed.

According to my calculations, at an increase of five days a year, in 51.6 years the federal government will take all your paycheck. Then what?

DaveGibson. I want to say what then right now! How much is enough? I do not want the government to take all and give to all. I want to earn my own way. I want to pay my own way and I want to be able to put away some of what I make without fear the government will need a large portion of it since I didn't just spend it like I suppose they think that I should. Fiscal responsibility is what is needed, not just more money at every turn!

ToT, you can have a very high amount of spending. It really doesn't matter if the revenue is up. Instead of focusing on JUST cutting spending, why not focus more or as much on growing revenue? You can have spending in the billions, but if revenue is in the trillions, it make it seem negligible.

Also, why on earth do Republicans never admit exactly what they want to cut? They always talk about 'cut, cut, cut', but when the President of Democrats suggest just that, the Republicans go ape s-hit. That's because they 'cut' is the 'cool' thing to say when you you want to pretend to say something meaningful.

Cut Medicare or Medicaid? That would save hundreds of millions if not billions. But no! It'll kill the seniors and poor people!

Cut military? But no! We'll be nuked to death!

Cut Memorial Day services in New York for Fleet Week (schedule to be cut this year by the way). But no! That's un-American! How dare you insult the serviceman!!!!

Seems hypocritical, no?

swizzer, how about letting the rest of the world hate us for free ??? Stop giving money away to the Muslim Brotherhood and the rest of the Arabs. Make a bushel of exported wheat the same price as a barrel of oil. Let them go back to throwing stones at each other instead of our bullets.

OOPS, that would cut too deep into Barry's agenda. Monday will be a heck of a day, Glenn Beck has issued an ultimatum to Barry's gang. He has information on the cover up and has given them until then to come clean.

"Barrys agenda" from the State of the Union address he said he wanted to rebuild the countries infrastructure,GOOD for Americas' middle working class, immigration bill.again good for the "working" class, get the troops out of those BS wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, good for middle America...I guess "Barrys' agenda is to get the American middle class back to work and backon track of the American Dream..What a terrible "agenda" .Why do people who lean right,GOP Republican voters,ALWAYS vote against their best interest??because the President is half Black or because he is a Democrat?

yukonjack, if you believe that, I got some ocean front property in Kansas for sale - cheap. Barry is not half black, he is an Arab Muslim with a white mother, he only looks black. He has a deep seated hatred for America and what it stands for. Open your eyes, he thinks the Constitution is an outdated piece of legislation that needs to be replaced. In case you haven't noticed they are working on repealing the second amendment, with others to follow.

I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK.

swizzer, glad you like them BUT racism had nothing to do with my thoughts. Barry's skin tone has nothing to do with dislike of him. It is his arrogant attitude and his agenda that his blind supporters refuse to see. It is the lies, his questionable back ground that we know nothing about, and the ones he has told us are his mentors that bother me. Skin color is w-a-y down on the numbered list of reasons why I will do the best I can to expose his hidden agenda.

Pay attention Skippy, and pull your seatbelt tight. We're in for a rough ride

RS and Yukon are you both really that stupid? I have to say yes! Take a look what happen in Gloversville this past week, over $80,000 in welfare fraud. So what happens to the money they stole? When will I be paid back for those taxes that were stolen from me? As I say all the time RS Buy a real clue! The real problem is people like you, take off the blinders! Stop blaming everyone else its getting old.

This president has raised more revenue than ever in the history of our country. That means that he has spent much more than we have taken in, TRILLIONS more. He cut and run from two wars and said that America is no longer officially at war, I believe that Boston says differently. I am tired of tax but I am even more tired of the lies that this administration will tell us to perpetuate his horrible ideas.

You know you've hit the target when you're called a racist by a racist progressive. Rs is right though, Repubs. are just as full of progressive sh*t. The cutting referred to is coming from Conservatives who are talking about CUTTING GOVERNMENT.

you just babble hateful nonsense that you make up. Like Obama hates this country and is trying to destroy the constitution. Where is this documented? You are entitled to your opinion but this stuff is reactionary. Then you mention Glenn Beck and in the process, lose all credibility. Glenn Beck has issued an ultimatum? Who cares? He lines you guys up to line his pockets.

usedto, you need to take the blinders off, do some research, if you are not afraid of what you'll find and the truth will set you free. The truth has no agenda, your pres Barry is so crooked he can't even lay in bed straight.

As to the Beck issue, let's just see what happens tomorrow when some truths are revealed.

THIS JUST IN: "As is usually the case with Glenn Beck, who has not (to our knowledge) ever turned out to be correct in his doom and gloom predictions, it isn’t precisely clear what he’s alleging occurred. It seems Beck believes or purports to believe that the situation on Friday in Boston with Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his surviving brother Dzhokhar was a distraction from the actual issue at play in the attacks on the Marathon."

According to news reports, Glenn Beck has NOTHING...but will keep you sheeple tuned in to keep lining his pockets....LOL

drugsrus, "Pay attention Skippy, and pull your seatbelt tight. We're in for a rough ride"

I've been paying attention the last 5 years and don't really see what the fearmongering is for. The country is still here, whole, complete, resilient as ever.

You continue to say 'something bad's gonna happen', but it never does.
