Getting personal, TOT? And you give us opinions and claim that they're facts. We see right through you

RS, The facts were listed... and have been many many times. I know that if you indeed read my posts or anything but progressive today your great mind would have grasped these concepts. And used.... LOL you are a joke. And a RINO does not have to be a turncoat, just someone that does not represent the republican party in a way that he should... like you and the human race... not a great fit!

Carlttfn, you were absolutely incorrect in that and you know it. I didn't, and still do not, see the continued need to debate.

If there is one thing that I know is that a Liberal will never admit that they were wrong and even when I piled on facts there was no evidence that anything that I said was misleading at all. You go look for information on where those banks that got bailed out do business... it is ALL OVER the world. if you in fact help a bank that does business ALL OVER the world, where do you suppose that they sent that money... likely only in the USA maybe only the local branches. Why would they care if the bank failed globally as long as the local branch is ok RIGHT? Makes as much sense as reelecting the worst president in history... yep Obama!

You mean like your total ignorance of the 4thqtr GDP report I called you on??? Hmmm. NOT a .1% decrease but a drop TO a negative rate of growth.

drugsrus, sayin Blaze TV is credible in their news is like samying the same of Newsmax.

In fact, I'm staring at an ad on this very page for Newsmax's '35 Dangers Hiding in Obamacare!', which after clicked, leads you to some other site that wants you to enter personal information.

Did you ever notice how Newsmax 'polls' let you vote, but never, ever show you the results unless you give them your email address? And even then, you can't even give a fake email address because to see the results you need to view the email they send you!

What a bunch of SPAM scammers.

time to call your cable provider and request that BLAZE TV be carried as a balance to CNN, MSNBC, and Al-Jazera TV (used to be big Al Gore's Current) The truth and real news.

The only defeat that I accept is at the polls where Obama won... America lost and we will suffer for it. As far as the rest you are the one that is wrong. If you can get your head out of the misinformation that the left has spread you will find the truth. And it is not on MSNBC!

TiredOfTax, the bailout did most certainly NOT go overseas, and I am unsure of where you got that from.

However, you are right: the money was lended out to the big banks for them to not only help themselves but to also lend it to consumers like you and me. But they didn't and instead hoarded it. That was about the only thing shifty about that program.

TiredOfTax, I had a feeling you would change the topic, so here we go.

Firstly, you're misinterpreting 'the government didn't make as much as it said it did' to be the same as 'it's not as much when you consider compounded interest.'

Secondly, from Dealbreaker (one of the most trusted news sources on Wall Street):

"How Much Did The Government Make On AIG, Anyway?" By Matt Levine

"The government has gotten back $15 billion more than it put into AIG so far, plus it has about $8 billion worth of AIG shares left over."

"Its IRR is 3.2% 3.9%" **(irr = initial rate of return)

"If you assume the government’s cost of capital for the bailout was 3.04%, or roughly 5-year Treasury rates as of the time they signed on to this almost 5-year bailout, then the government’s made an economic profit (returns in excess of cost of capital) of $600 million $3 billion, or $9.9 billion including the remaining AIG shares."

Dave Gibson.."I stand by my statement that the guy in the corporate office is a moron. It seems that every one of his editorials is factually incorrect.

I don't have a problem with people with a different view than mine. I think Limbaugh and Hannity are idiots"

I'm seeing a huge double standard(hypocrisy)in your postings and what you allow to be posted
