Big drinks? Loud music? Why doesn't Bloomberg focus on serious issues, like the dangers of single ply toilet paper?

Bloomberg is an example of how the super wealthy feel the pressing need to acclimate the masses to the idea of government control. Take things away for your own good as none of us are educated at least to the HS level. As we accept these small trespasses on our freedom in the name of the "greater good" we will eventually not complain as the trespasses against our freedom become greater because it is for our own good as the super wealthy who we elect as leaders are more educated, know what is in our best interest, and care about us more than creating greater wealth for themselves.

Bloomer is a billionaire and doesn't take a paycheck for his duties as mayor. He also contributed $1 million to the senate GOP party, who in turn financed $315K of anti-gun control, anti-minimum wage increase, anti-women candidate George Amedore's unsucessful campaign. But, nobody flipped their noodle until Bloomberg started his anti-obesity campaign.

Yes Dave it is great to see that the biggest problem in NYC is soda, salt and loud ear buds. It is clear that the unemployment, crime and violence issues no longer plague NYC.

JEERS to OVERSPENDING! Federal spending was $30,548,000,000.00 more in the first five months of fiscal 2013 than it was during the first five months of fiscal 2012.

The federal government is also spending at a much faster pace this year than it did before President Barack Obama took office. So much for his handling of the mess he inherited!

Taxedtoomuch, its called condescending arrogance. Progressives believe everyone has to play by their (ever changing)rules. Anyone who does not follow in lock step will be reminded they are nothing more than a knuckle dragging moron. Oddly, at the same time, they can't or won't explain why their ideology is so great or the benefits of collectivism, control and no credibility.

MrBob, In a perfect liberal world there is no other voice. All you get to hear is along the regressive progressives chatter about the perfect world. No conflicting voices whatsoever, it is way too upsetting for them!! I pray for those that clicked disagree,,, they are going to go to the churches cellar.

JEERS: Tax Prof: ObamaCare Tax Increases Are Double Original Estimate The Joint Committee on Taxation recently released a 96 page report on the tax provisions associated with Affordable Care Act. The report describes the 21 tax increases included in Obamacare, totaling $1.058 trillion – a steep increase from initial assessment, according to the Tax Prof Blog. The summer 2012 estimate is nearly twice the $569 billion estimate produced at the time of the passage of the law in March 2010.

Explain what you believe in useto. We're waiting.....and waiting......and waiting...oh well, maybe one of your acolytes can do it for you. I doubt it though, none of you were taught that kind of skill. You were taught to only criticize those who don't subscribe to the collective and to blindly follow whatever leader is the loudest and offers you more of somebody else's stuff. As long as you progressives refuse to defend your sick, hateful ideology I'll be happy to continue to identify you all as brain-dead lemmings with nothing in you approaching, drive, ambition or credibility. Of course, you have every opportunity to prove me wrong or just ignore me. You can't. Laughably, you've managed to redistribute your 'goat' for me and other individualists like me to pick apart. Go figure.

Bloomberg, a lifelong member of the Democratic Party, decided to run for mayor as a member of the Republican Party ticket. All you have to do to not be deleted is not tell lies and no cussing, try nit OK?

Bob, if you read these posts, I explained about a month ago all the things I believe in, and it was lengthy. Actually recieved kudos from TOT and Tax tired. I don't feel that your request deserves an answer. I stand by my previous statement in that I don't believe any of the things you accuse me of. Your bitterness shines through. Can't we all just get along?

Those statements you made, at the time I thought were sincere. You made it painfully obvious that it was simply a trap designed to get us to let our guard down enough to crap on us. It won't happen again. Thanks for the liberal lesson!

G70. what I see Bloomberg as is a very wealthy man getting to do whatever he wants buying his way through life. He gets his jollies these days telling us what we can do as he is so wise as to know what is good for us. Do you believe that a lifelong democrat can just turn into a republican? Then to serve his own means changes parties again so he can get a third term as mayor of NYC? He was always a RINO (republican in name only). And these recent liberal acts prove my point. He is a LIBERAL no matter what he says he is... and likely still more democrat then anything else.

You're free to believe what you want usedto. If you believe I'm bitter..so be it. I'm free to believe what your words say. That's how it works. You might 'feel' I don't deserve a response....well I don't give a crap about how you 'feel' about anything. What I care about is how one THINKS and I think you're dodging the question and you're condescending attempts to gather kudos is pathetic.
