drugsrus, your arguments are always so much better when they're NOT filled with a strawman.

swizzer- so simply releasing 2-5K illegals destined for deportation (probably with instructions to go home) will save money???? Better to expedite the deportation process and buy some parachutes for them to use as the plane flies over thier homeland. king Barry is a jerk, the only thing he can lead is the line to the soup kitchen.

No I gave an example of stupid before the cliff acts that actually save nothing and show the administrations stupidity. I hope that this selection process of this administration improves quickly or it will be another failure in the long road to demise for this bogus excuse for a president.

HA! TiredOfTax, so you admit time and again that we need to cut, cut, cut spending, and the Obama administration does just that...

...and yet because it's illegal immigrants that are the bargaining chip in your game, they don't count as a savings.

Take you straw man argument somewhere else. You're injecting stupid and meaningless arguments of Catch-22 in here hoping people won't pick up on it.

The Homeland Security Department released from its jails more than 2,000 illegal immigrants facing deportation in recent weeks due to looming budget cuts and planned to release 3,000 more during March, The Associated Press has learned.

The newly disclosed figures, cited in internal budget documents reviewed by the AP, are significantly higher than the "few hundred" illegal immigrants the Obama administration acknowledged this week had been released under the budget-savings process.

TiredOfTax,

My most sincere apologies for not having responded in a most expeditious manner.

Upon further and subsequent investigation regarding your use of deforatory terms such as 'libtard', it appears that the Leader-Herald has deleted comments from before January 2013. Probabably for liability reasons.

Respectfully, The Mgmt.

RS I also await your reply to your posing. And I still challenge you to find where I ever said "libtard"! And while you are at it I am still waiting for the green tech thefts you said big oil did! If like you said that I said that... it is still online as they have never (yet) removed a single comment that I have ever said.

USEDTO, Try this right back at ya! "back yourself into corners by bending the truth. Explain the bipartisanship of the bill and don't try to warp the facts. I'm still waiting" There was NO BIPARTISANSHIP! It was a ram job before midterm elections that democrats with the help of the couple of PURCHASED votes from members of the republican party and arm twisting of many bluedog democrats squeaked the bad legislation through! Unread, as Nancy Pelosi so eloquently said it!

The most fun part of this is watching you post defending your mistake time after time after time. Before you continue to post that the republicans were in control of the house during the time of the healthcare bill passing, take a moment to check it out. Or continue to post so we can see the true meaning of your humorous liberal logic.

So the Supreme court decides against your belief and you say they are only human and make mistakes? This is because you know more than they do of course. It was enacted in March of 2010,when the dems did not have control of both houses. So I am right! I know how many houses there are. Ever hear of a compund sentence. You blather on trying to impress people with your "intelligence", but you back yourself into corners by bending the truth. Explain the bipartisanship of the bill and don't try to warp the facts. I'm still waiting.

PS Usedto, both houses include the House of representatives and the senate. There are not 2 houses and the senate as your post appears to claim.

Usedto, please go look up the topic you are now falsely claiming that I have wrong. When Obama was elected your democrats had majorities in both the House and the senate. They passed legislation without a single republican vote. Last time I checked Obama won the election so the fighting that they created and the corrupt buying of votes to get the votes to pass the spending albatross called Obama care should have been as easy as pie if democrats were united behind YOUR president as well Pelosi and Reid, the majority leaders. go see the facts then talk for a change. Conjecture is not fact. As far as RS's comment, supreme court judges are human and are subject to the same pressures as any other person in any power position... humans make mistakes... except you I assume!

Dems did not have control of both houses and the Senate has used the filibuster or threat of it in the last session more than any other session of the Senate. You answered my question with false "facts" and an opinion. Hardly worthy of your all-knowing conservatism.

Well for one thing the DEMOCRATS did not really need help from the republicans, they had the white house and both houses of congress. The supremes declared it a TAX not commerce so it was upheld on a technicality, The bill is still opposed by many Americans and the fight is not yet over. As more and more is implemented you will see the true costs rise to the point that objections will abound. It was and will always be a poorly written, Ill conceived and expensive burden on every TAXPAYING American. That is why they are supposed to read the bills that they pass and sign into law so that they do not make such horrible mistakes.

" How fiscally responsible are the democrats to put forth a spending bill like the Obamacare deal at a time when they should have been dealing with the financial crisis that was out of control?" This from TOT on Feb. 23.. My question, once again is how did this bill pass a Republican House, not filibustered in the Senate, and get a favortable ruling of it's constitutionality by a conservative Supreme Court Chief Justice if it was Obama's and Pelosi's fault? If it's irresponsible, shouldn't they all be blamed? Simple question. I'm interested to hear what you have to say on this. No name calling, no opinions in my post, just facts.

or in other word, I'm right and you're wrong! What happened to meaningful dialogue on topic? Right, you decide the topic. If it meets your needs, fine. If not, let's change the subject and tell me that I'm not worthy of a response. Am I the only one here that sees this?

I have said it many times that I do not do assignments and I choose what and who I type to. You are no longer one of those.
