Excellent editorial. And congratulations to Mrs. Bowman for sharing her story. I had the pleasure of working with her on the Boys & Girls Club board of managers. She did an outstanding job.

Mrs. Bowman was a teacher of mine in Gloversville. The kids never dared test her because she always instilled discipline in her classroom. At the time I didn't appreciate the lessons in life that she taught but I believe she was a great teach in hind sight. Bless you Mrs. Bowman and thank you for all you have done.

You bring up the real problem of today. You probably know all of your rights, "used"

But the greater part is; I bet you can't name your responsibilities. They require restraint and awarness of your fellow citizens. And THAT is the hard part.
