Coming to SkyHeart: Caravan of Thieves

"If Django Reinhardt, the cast of Stomp and the Beatles all had a party at Tim Burton's house, Caravan of Thieves would be the band they hired." Such claim is made on the website of this New England ensemble, and I'm looking forward to hearing them for myself. You can, too, if you get yourself a ticket for the group's performance this Saturday night at SkyHeart Studio in Gloversville. Tickets cost $25, or $15 for students, and they are available only in advance through the venue's website (www.skyheartstudio.com). The price includes beverages and gourmet desserts at intermission.

This rather stylish video reveals the band's colorful sensibility, which indeed seems to be a blend of Acoustic/Gypsy/Goth/Punk/Folk.
