Moved on to Different Ground

Yes, that's right, the market manager has moved away from Fonda. I guess that is because I got tired of working three part time jobs with not too much to show for it. So I went on to Ithaca, where

there is a market around every corner! I don't know if I will find work at any of them, but I certainly will check out the wares!

I live just outside of the city, where the deer hang out in the backyard, traffic crawls, birds sing, and chipmunks race around. Yes, I can be in Ithaca in minutes, but wow, a country girl like me cannnot

drive in the city; well at least if I want to find anything! I finally did locate DMV! Then I found the highway that goes around the city, minutes from the house, which makes it easy to get to some

things that aren't in the heart of downtown!

There are so many places to explore, but I don't know where to start. I did however, get to the Dryden library and signed up for a card, as I don't have my internet hooked up. I really would love to

check that bird sanctuary out that is near my house; I think it is part of Cornell. Yes, did I mention that Cornell Plantations is in my backyard? This is too much; I love it! Now I just need some work

while I am looking for a full time job. I am almost sure I will be able to use my teaching assistant certificate for subbing, as there are so many schools nearby!

I think I could almost write a book about my travels around this area, as there is so much to see and do!
