Downtown Gloversville will be hopping on Saturday as it hosts the annual SVAN/BID art fair, and the Glove Performing Arts Center will host a recital by the advanced students of Vocal Image Music Studios on Saturday night. If you can’t wait till the weekend for some live music, check out one of the following two acts, both performing tonight. These YouTube videos might help you decide whether they are your cup of tea: Four Shillings Short is a dynamic duo that plays folk music from around the world, and they bring with them an arsenal of exotic instruments. They’ll be at Loopie’s Pub in Tribes Hill starting at 6 p.m.
