| | Video: Penny Jar band at SkyHeartMay 24, 2011 - Bill AckerbauerThe folks at downtown Gloversville's SkyHeart Studio hosted a great event on Saturday with live music by my old-timey duo, the Bentwood Rockers, and our friends the Penny Jar band. (The next show coming up at SkyHeart will be a June 6 show by Matching Orange, a touring trio based in the Boston area.) If you haven't had a chance to see Penny Jar perform live, check them out this Saturday when they play at the Grand Opening at the Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. The event starts at 10 a.m., and I understand the band will play starting around 11 a.m. Some of Penny Jar's performance was captured on video the other night.
