If you're going to offer a $25 gift certificate, how about making it for something most all readers need, like a free oil change.

I like to give thought to just about any ideas. I think yours is worth a thought or two!

What you need to do is revamp this site. It is so difficult to navigate that I just read the top stories and that's it. We are not all computer-savvy so give us a break. The old site was much easier.

... or at least trade for a free ad. What do you think?

I notice the weekend readership is always lower than during the week. I have an idea for boosting weekend website traffic. How about a scavenger hunt on the website. Simply post a headline that reads "Win a prize" in a different spot every weekend day and the first person that "finds the prize" and posts a comment in that spot wins the prize. One Saturday, you can post a headline that reads "Win a $25 gift certificate to local restaurant" in The Teen Vox Blog. On Sunday, you could post the headline "Win a free round of golf" under local sports. The main result would be people visiting the website looking for the prize. Secondarily, people would be forced to visit parts of the website they do not normally visit and may find something they were unaware of that becomes a part of their daily web visits. You could advertise the contest for free in both print and online, and you could probably get local businesses to donate the prizes, or at least tra

Electronic visitors are ok because you never have to feed them.
