| | Maine attractionNovember 12, 2009 - Bill AckerbauerOn Friday night, Gloversville's SkyHeart Studio will host a lively folk/rock group from Maine, the Dave Rowe Trio. I've never seen these guys live, but I understand they perform a lot of material from the Celtic and maritime traditions, so they probably would appeal to the many rabid local fans of the former Foothills Trio and its current incarnation, the Intermountain Trio. I understand Friday night's show isn't completely sold out, so tickets still are available through SkyHeart's Web site (see link above at right). Here's a YouTube video of the Dave Rowe Trio knocking out a strong rendition of the Stan Rogers classic "The Mary Ellen Carter."
