| | A bad experienceMay 24, 2008 - Bill AckerbauerMy blogger friend Roland Vinyard recently had a bad experience dealing with the satellite cable company DirectTV. Apparently the company sold his ailing, 93-year-old mother an expensive 2-year premium package that she clearly didn't want or need. He has written all about the experience on his blog. I haven't dealt with that company myself, but I think we've all had sour experiences with various companies that use questionable marketing tactics. You no doubt have heard of Consumer Reports, and you may have heard of a Web site called Angie's List that also offers reviews of companies and their products and services. If you've had exceptionally bad or good consumer experiences you'd like to share, feel free to leave a comment here. Just remember to keep it clean, and don't post anything here that you wouldn't be willing to repeat in court. ;) Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
