Today, while browsing through photos of more newsworthy things such as explosions in Afghanistan and a deadly virus in China, I stumbled upon the two curiosities in the box at right. Every morning, the AP wire is like a box of chocolates -- you never know what you're going to get. I think it's interesting that, in each of these photos, a man is proudly making a statement, but in both cases the messages that come across most vividly are not the ones intended.
