The Crystal Ball knows all

April 7, 2009 - Pat Beck
The amazing crystal ball readings of those in the know. The longer I live people never cease to amaze me. I write what I believe is a simple cheer to the upcoming Meyer’s Park 100 year celebration and the next thing I know I am going to have to make a decision to not allow foreign language on our comment section. Not only that, but I have apparently played favorites to an unannounced candidate seeking the mayor’s seat in Gloversville. If I am not mistaken, I have actually met this person once, and have seen her at perhaps one or two community events. With so much going on in our world, our community, our neighborhoods and our own families it amazes me the number of brain cells that are used on this gibberish of 26 back and forth “conversations – accusations – bickering” comments. I guess that until we get a translator of all foreign languages, the next spare moment I get I will have to work on a procedure on how to monitor these types of postings. Gee, I hope I am not going to have to brush up on the only other language that I used to speak and that was Pig Latin back in the seventh grade! easeplay elphay emay – translation “please help me”

Maybe the crystal ball even knows when to post a new blog. If so, ye Publisher should consult it.

Please watch the attitude, Mrs. Beck. It is unbecoming!

I had a crystal ball once - I drilled three holes in it and went bowling.

I apparently missed out on most of the complaints referred to above, Perhaps the unsilent local majority would have better attitudes if the government distributed free cheese?
